You make an interesting point, cahokietim. But the NFL would not quite seem right without Jets versus Miami...or even NE/Miami Buf-Miami. I think our division is good the way it is. Rivalries take a long, long time to develop...Look at the Marlins for instance, they dont really have true rival and its been 16 years that they've been around now.

Welcome Bengals fan, my advise is simple...just write and rank the best 25 guys on the board, scratch them off as they are picked. The Dolphins will probably pick someone in the 16-20 bpa range.

You guys are thinking too much, BP's strategy has always been best player available, he never drafts for need.

I agree that Porter has only downside from here on out, but I seriously doubt anyone in their right mind is going to give up a 2nd rounder for him...Not even Al Davis. Best we could get for Porter is a low 4-5th rounder.

I also have the feeling the pats were uncertain of Brady's health status for 2010, thus they were forced to franchise Cassell. Their 3rd string qb Matt Gutierrez, is not very good.

CB - Nmandi Osomugha (UFA/Raiders) C - Jason Brown (UFA/Ravens) These two would be nice adds!

I think all the home teams will win this week. Tennesee, rested and with something to prove. Carolina, will expose the weak Cardinal D Blitzburgh, no lt...and cold weather game= Steelers win. New York- better coaching, better team.

Here's how I ranked it.. 1. DT 2. DE 3. Center (i could of put this as #1, but getting no pressure over several games skewed the vote.) 4. OLB (Maybe Merling will move out here.) 5. ILB (crowder is ok, but we need to improve over ayodele) 6. FS 7/8. (tied.) CB WR. imho we are okay for now at these positions with stronger line play on both sides.

I survived the Wanny era intact but if Carl Peterson comes to Miami and Parcells leaves, I'm leaving too. Sorry but my agent is going to have to put me on the fan free agent market. In reality- I don't think this will happen. Ross is a life long dolphin fan and probably as committed to keeping Bill happy as I am.

I'm of the opinion that secondary or LB is a bigger need, but Bill Parcells has always gone with the "best player available" theory so who knows. Thanks for this list though, nicely done.

here's my rankings as of this week 16,2008: 1. Titans (i thought they'd decline without haynesworth, but no. they are solid) 2. Colts (tempted to put them at number one, they've been red hot) 3. Steelers (strong d, but offense is very so-so this year) 4. Patriots ( Cassel has a hot hand, but defense is mediocre) 5. Ravens (best D in the nfl, could go all the way) 6. Chargers (have been

I have Gore on my fantasy team and I know he hasn't been right since the Rams game in mid-November. I'm benching him on my team and in the real world... looks like butter fingers Deshaun Foster will be playing.

It's a typical move for a lousy executive and part of the reason why the US economy is going down the tubes. Cut jobs to increase the bottomline numbers. The problem is that by cutting jobs you also lower the quality of service, which reduces long term profitability. Goodell is an idiot.

When I posted this last night , these guys were leading the league in votes. Not saying who deserves it or not, but at least we (the phins + fans) are getting some recognition for this year by people around the country.
