"Potentially" Tannehill might not pan out ..... Show me some QB's with similar stats, the low number of starting games etc.... Even his coaches put him at wide receiver from the QB position. That alone tells me enough about his potential ! His coach wanted him at WR instead of QB. Keep dreaming .... Fallow the the draft board hype instead of common sense. Dream a sweat dream ? Franchise

I just don't see Tannahide as a first round pick or as a good value pick. 3rd, 4th or 5th round is more where he should be taken. Your looking at 2 years to develope. "potentially" What a mess .......

I prefer a QB that has at least 3 years of statistics that are impressive. Show me something that is "awe inspiring" ! Why waste a first round pick on potential ? I'm sick of potential .......

All of our credentials aside A&O, lets take a look at Ryan Tannehill. IN 2008 Tannehill competed against veteran quarterback Stephen McGee and redshirt sophomore Jerrod Johnson for the starting quarterback. He finished third and was moved to reciver. IN 2009 Tannehill and Jerrod Johnson competed for the starting quarterback position; the job went to Johnson. 2010 Tannehill continued to play r

Let me guess, you had the ESPN Network since you were 8, had some football trading cards, played Madden football on the XBOX, played flag football in high school, have the NFL Network on TV, in a fan

I have the credentials and time will tell A&O. Lets just hope the phins use the #8 pick wisely. This is a great draft to pick up some key impact players who could contribute right away. Tannehill is just not one of them. I wouldn't mind picking him up in the latter rounds though .........

I hope the Browns get him. He is not worth a #8 pick. Not enough experience at the QB position. Will take a couple of years to get ready to play at the NFL level....... Go Browns !

We should get rid of him too...... lol ! Why did they get rid of their best reciever (marshal) ???? Just ask yourself, did it make the team better ??????

I hope that the Browns grab him first. There is no QB worth a 1st after Luck and RG3. I do all the hiring here at our company for the last 30 years. When I was younger, at times I would hire a unqualified person based on "potential" or "work ethic". Not once do I recall it working out for the company or the employee. People with the experience, talent and resume to back it up

You know that I don't mind being wrong about Tannehill. If he were to land in Miami, I would hope for the best that he will be very successful in Miami. I just dont like taking chances with the number one pick when you have a better chance of picking up a impact player. No guarantee on any given player but I would like better odds. A 100 to one sounds better than a 1,000 to one

Dan Marino was a 1st round pick, 27th overall. Tannehill at 8 ????????

The team needs impact players now.Tannehill is years away. Having a great combine is no substitute for the real thing. Remember Vernon Gholston who had a "great combine" who then rocketed up the draft boards ? This is the same situation. If you want the next Tom Brady, the dolphins need to find him with their own scouts and not be swayed by the sports writers touting Tannehill is a top

Casinos love gamblers, why ? "Because they lose" ! Don't gamble on Tannehill, odds are it's a loser at #8. I would rather the team pick a player with better odds for sure. The two QB's we have now are better than Tannehill. The only reason he is climbing the charts is that its all hype. He has no stats to prove he is even QB draft material in my opinion. Look at his stats and tell me th

I've said it once and I'll say it a million times: I don't believe the Dolphins will draft Ryan Tannehill. Not with the eighth overall pick, anyway. If the Dolphins can trade back and grab Tannehill, they'll have my blessing. Otherwise, this is too much of a reach. Tannehill is riding an unprecedented wave of hype, and I don't think he warrants a top 10 selection. He only started one sea

Tannehill is a 3rd or 4th round pick in this draft. He has no numbers to warrent a first round pick. You might as well believe in Unicorns and Bigfoot !

I like all those pick of yours Ken. Except Tannehill of course. The jury is still out on Tannehill. He is a an excellent athlete but the Phins need an immediate playmaker for the "win now" Dolphins. Floyd, Ingram, Coples or Claiborne would be a great addition to the phins and would probably start on day one. The Phins need a premier Quarteback ASAP and I agree with you totaly it's the n

No way would I reach for Ryan Tannehill. This team needs "Ballers","impact players", "studs", "a game changer", someone who could contribute now". Lets have some "Pizazz" on this team for a change ! Someone solid please ! No more of these developmental players with "potential" in the early rounds. When was the last time a football t

Stephen Ross and Jeff Ireland need to be drug tested ! I believe these two are on "CRACK" ......... What has happened to my beloved and once glorious Dolphins ? This team has lost the ability to choose impact players in the last few years. If you cant build through the draft, you will be a loser in this league ! The way they handled Tony Sparano's departure realy speaks a lot about this
