Actually this might be a browser feature (I'm using Safari). I just misspelled a word on a different website and got the same spellcheck prompt.

OK then, sorry phinatix and eesti! I thought he was trying to scalp tickets! Sometimes we get people on here who pretend to be chummy and in their first post are conducting shady business. Phinatix, please accept my apologies and post here more often! JC

Wake had a crappy first day in camp. Let's hope that he improves quickly.

Another thing he got over early in his career was immaturity. He was on the Pats' roster during the beginning of their first championship season but managed to screw it up. He'd be on his cell phone during practice, speed through a school zone at 75 MPH on his way to a meeting, etc. At the same time, he was known locally in the Boston area for spending lots of time with sick children at the

Please don't title threads with subjects like that!!!! You're causing coronary distress among some of us who thought he got a new injury in TC.

This is a perfect example of why Greg Cote has earned a nickname among his media colleagues. I won't repeat it here for decency reasons, but it adds one letter to his last name and is the same as a brand of feminine hygiene product. The real coward is anyone who tortures animals.

I'd love to have a copy of that. I was there. That game was probably the last time the OB rocked liked it used to in the early 70s.

I'm sure he meant to word it that way. If he wanted to be objective he could have said they had the same W-L record as the Divisional Champions but came in second on the tiebreaker, and failed to make the wild card. He's a Brady-sniffer.

I admit, I posted myself earlier this thread that Ortiz didn't seem like a roid-type (with that beer belly and jolly temperament of his). Here's an overlooked quote from that same NYT article: "There were no penalties for a positive test in 2003&qu

When I started this thread I meant for it to be an acknowledgement of the NFL career of a very tough competitor, and to express regret that his life ended shortly after his career as a player was over. I knew full well from the first breaking story that his personal life had everything to do with how his life ended, and was completely aware that there would be posts on this thread commenting o
