The media needs to curb their rhetoric and refrain from suggesting that any "group" or "person" of a hostile organization was responsible for this horrific action. It could very well be a madman or madwoman born in the USA... a home grown nut job...WE JUST DON'T KNOW!

We don't have all the facts. Unless there's a history of physical abuse by the dad over his teenage son, this matter should be resolved in dad's favor. I've dealt with charges made by daughters against their fathers on sexual abuse of physical abuse. Sometimes there's something to it other times, the facts reveal a pissed off kid that knows they can get their important dad in trouble by com

Media reports Long is going to be a Ram. Turn the page, next chapter. Let's hope it's not anticlimactic for the team.

Limit the size of players to 6'6" 280 pounds on the line; 230 at LB and 190 at S. Limit offensive players to the same weight on the O-line, and no fullback could exceed 240. Concussions would not be as prevalent with smaller players and hi-tech head gear.

One word,"continuity." Jake Long's minor injuries have bothered him;nagging injuries do that and flexibility and agility suffers. What the Fins need is a solid performer at that position. IF, and that 2- letter word is BIG, can rehab himself in more than one place on his body, he could return to his earlier form. Remember, also that he's gained experience at the position. His mental

1896. Re: CBs
A a big void on CB now. Smith never reached the level of performance the Fins had hoped for out of a 2nd round pick. He wasn't a bust exactly, but never rose above being a C+ player. He clearly was no ball hawk. Perhaps, he'll perform at a higher level with the Chiefs.

I would imagine it's tough for these aging players to accept a cut in pay when they mentally feel they have earned the right to earn the big bucks based on past performance and experience. But unlike other business where past performance and experience are appreciated, it's youth and vitality that is more important. It's "what can you do for me now;" that is the mantra of the NFL.

When need to get a power RB. Lamar Miller is not a threat in that department. Nor is Thomas.

"Show me the money." This trumps what Mrs. Long thinks about staying in South Florida. She needs to buck up and deal with changes in life and eventually life style.

Eifert was a player of concern by opponents. He ran good routes, snagged errant passes, and disrupted defensive players on throws made to other team mates. He also blocked those same defensive players on running plays. If we don't take him on our first pick at #12, we'll never see him as a possible round 2 selection because he will already be wearing a hat from some other lucky team. That's

Out on a limb....Tyler Eifert is going to be a starter...right away. He's an impact player and is worth #12. If we don't get him some other team will have landed a big "catch" guy. I'd add him for TD power!

Te'o has something to prove now that his value has declined. I hope he makes a lot of naysayers sit up in total surprise that he really is a very good ball player. As always--time will tell.

Manti Teo may have been coached. Lots of people who are or become "celebrities" or infamous in the public eye can be subjected to unrelenting criticism for every word they utter. Consequently, getting some coaching in advance, practice if you will, is a smart thing to do. Remember, even though he attended an academic school, he's still a young guy, hardly polished and savvy enough to

A hardy laugh is always welcome. However, realistically the Dolphins will stick with Tannehill and add playmakers to the team. I suspect the Jets will get Smith to improve their lousy QB situation because Sanchez is not going to ever excel under Ryan. Tim Tebow will wind up somewhere else--1 more try at the NFL, I predict.

I may be wrong, but I don't believe I am; so, I recommend we stick with Tannehill at QB and sign Jennings and re-sign Hartline for a Jennings/Hartline duo with Bess in the slot. We should also attempt to get a high draft pick WR to add to the mix. A playmaker to complement Fasano at TE is also needed, IMO.

I live in sunny, South Florida. Three miles from the Dolphins' practice facility at Nova. I see Fins players from time to time as they live around here.

Clearly, this list proves that "no body is perfect." In fact, it shows that players are prone to substance abuse (alcohol or drugs) that leads to more felonious conduct. It also evidence of troubled personas.

What if.... There are too, too many variables to reasonably speculate what Harbaugh woulda, coulda, shoulda done if hired as the HC here. We need to deal with reality. We have Philbin. We have Ireland. Our team has lots of cap room, and we have plenty of upgrading to do. That's reality. Since you wish to speculate--I surmise that the Broncos will not make it to the SB next year wit

I'm getting old. Beyonce is an attractive women. However, I don't find her "dancing" with singing to be entertaining. I'm not saying that the choreography was lame, I just don't find it very appealing or entertaining. Nor do I find acrobatic acts like Cirque du Soleil entertaining. Same level of enjoyment. The acoustics in the Superdome are horrendous. What lyrics were being sun

There's no conspiracy with the electric outage, just the usual Murphy's Law in action. The game was lopsided. The outage allowed the Ravens to "think" and that was bad. Too much thinking about what could be almost always results in a period of doldrums and that produces, in this case, a loss of spirit and momentum. The outage allowed SF to regroup after being knocked to the canv

With the picks we have this year, Ireland (not the country) has to select playmakers to support the FA playmakers we need to hire. Philbin has to be the squeaky wheel encouraging to do so.

My bet is Brady will continue to have better than average receivers (WRs and TEs) to throw to next season. Unless they somehow have injuries that prevent them from scoring they are still primed to be the best in the East. We could challenge them if Ireland hires the right FA WR and we get the right draft picks to pan out for us. They have playmakers--we need playmakers on O and D.

Bill Belichick is hard cookie to figure out. The man doesn't exhibit any likable traits as far as I can observe. And you know what...why should anyone of us care other than his immediate family.

On to the Super Bowl (47). One of the Harbaughs is going to be the winning HC. Do I get points for this prediction?????

This is truly bizarre. No doubt about it. He was a team captain not because of this "girl friend" but because of his leadership on and off the field. It's crazy for me to fully comprehend falling in love with a girl you've never seen and had contact with, yet there are woman who fall for cons sitting in prison. That too is unfathomable and illogical. Was he duped, mislead, caug

It came as a surprise to me that Mr Ross would only fund about 50% of his stadium's renovation. Expecting Dade county to pick up the balance via some kind of hike in hotel taxes wouldn't be much of a burden on local residents, but I think he has a lot of brass seeking money from the government to support this project. Keep in mind that I seriously doubt that Ross would simply reach into his
