Jlyell13, Little, Langer and Dwight Stephenson could not have taught Gesicki to block (lmao). He just wasn't cut out for blocking. People say bring back retired players to tutor. That just doesn't work. Some retired players just want to get away from the game, its also an admission that the position coach does not know what he is doing.

2 Washington TE UGA 3 Charbonnet RB UCLA 6 Dale DL AL 7 Foster T SHEP Washington is the only TE I would pick at 51. The blocking type of TE our O calls for. If Charbonnet or (Spears, Tulane) are their at 84 we should grab them. If we can get players like this at 51 and 84 I would stay put and not trade down.

I am going to continue to point to coaching as the primary cause of our oline problems. When you continue to have problems with an entire unit you have to look at leadership. Problem has been going on to long to keep pointing at the players. Barry stinks, folks in Denver think we are idiots for hiring him. Players thought he was not qualified and you know I believe them. Check out his resume,

OLine and Tua both have to mature together. Unlike most I think Eichenberg and Jackson can get the job done. I saw some good things from Jackson early on that gave me some confidence, I know

Right Jlyell13, that mock from me was full of speculation. I do think we will trade down in both 2nd and 3rd rounds. If we draft with the 4 picks we have now I would think we would draft something like this. 2 Tippmann C WI 3 Spears RB TULANE 6 Fisher OL Shepard 7 Whiteheart TE WAKE Tippmann a stud center, Spears w/ Waddle and Hill would make D coordinators heads spin. Fisher an

We could be scary. I think getting Fangio is like getting 2 first round picks. I think he will get so much out of our D. I like what the Phins are doing so far this spring. Get 2 players at spots of need CB/LB. LB is now a strength. Resigning Mostert and Smith. Now get Needham and a couple of our free agent Olinemen. Bring back players from last year that know our system. Get a blocking TE lik

I agree 100% This staff overcame some serious hurdles that previous staffs would have caved under. QB, Oline and db injuries rookie coach and 3rd string qb.

I think we are heading in the right direction. Making playoffs w/ a rookie coach is a positive. Just keep bringing in good coaches. It shows we have players on our roster that we can win with. I like the off season firing of Applebaum and Boyer. I thought the Oline played well in spite of the injuries but reading the press it appears a lot of that was due to Smith the OC . We need a coach who can

For me I grew up in Miami when football was king and the Phins were the high King. I remember Wahoo McDaniels. Still love the city bad crap yes but its still one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I remember the cocaine cowboy days so in a way its actually better. I like the board always have, some crap but its not my board and I appreciate Curt, JC and the Colonel for what they provide.

I wish they had canned Boyer after the end of the 2021 season. I actually think the dbs are playing well and could use some blitzing by the front 7. Boyer was getting out coached in the preseason. Unfortunately if we canned him now Im not sure there is anyone on the staff ready to step into his position.

Bridgewater moved the offense, he had this team in a position to win. He made throws, 10 points on the board 4 were left on the table by our kicker. I like the way the OLine received him when he came in. When Brissett would come in last year they would have this look of oh sh** here he comes. I saw more in this loss than our wins which took a lot of luck. Tackling was better in the second half,

Bridgewater can run this team. I actually liked the rhythm he had the offense in. Int, miscommunication error at a bad time. More ticked w/ other areas of this team than the backup qb. This team can be good, coaches have to get the maximum potential out of it.

"wilt to the level of their competition". Excellent point. In previous years we did play to the level of out competition. We are definitely not doing that. Did not consider that when discussing the D. We are playing our own game. We improve on our weaknesses we will continue to get better on both sides of the ball.

Im hard on the D because they need it. I remember one game in the 90's where the D was stinking. Shula walked over to Tom Olivadotti and tore him a new one. Olivadotti walks over to Joe Green and rips him one, Mean Joe the rips the DLine a new one problem got resolved. I was wishing McDaniel would do that on yesterday. We could easily be 0-3 When players are consistently making the same mista

I feel we won but again we did not 'beat' this team. I thought giving the Bills the ball when we won the coin toss was our first mistake. Get the O on the field and get them going, they are our best unit. Boyer still stinks. Sheesh, I wanted McDaniel's to get in his face and tell him to get my freaking defense off the field. Bills O had the ball for 40 minutes that's ridiculous. Our db's

We have not done that in any of the first two games. T

Im actually more concerned with our run defense more than the OL. I think this OL can develop over the season. Finally I hope the pieces are in place. Please, please stay healthy. Watching 3 tackles go down in one game was nerve racking. The defense gave up 7 plays of runs of 5+ yards and gave up at least 2 3rd and longs. We are vulnerable on the edge w/ Phillips IMO. Ingram is a better edge

Keep all 3, if this team is going to the playoffs w/ need a guy like Bridgewater as number 2. I like Thompson but Im not trusting him as my #2 based on him playing against guys who many will not make a nfl roster. I like his talent but its foolish to trust him as your #2.

I like Connor. I think they will stick him on IR like they did Coleman on last year. Don't want to take the risk of him getting poached from the practice squad. I think Coleman looked good at LT in the pre season game. Had some timing issues facing quick rushers but not too alarmed since this is his first NFL action. The sports reporters complained about him a lot but you can tell these guys d

Stamper So much of news these days are opinions that are worth just as much as mine. Regarding Gesicki I would not be devastated if they traded him. I think his shortcomings as a blocker are detrimental to our new O. I witnessed 3 plays so far in preseason where his missed or inability to sustain blocks resulted in wasted plays. There appears to be some plays that he should not be on the fi

Im hearing some good stuff out of the Phins camp. Players really like this coaching staff, Welker, Surtain, Gregory, Bevell and others. Guys that are respected and know the game and are not just out there yelling. Lots of underlining positive vibes out there. Everyone knows their part and are eager to perform. Veterans know this is a good team that needed leadership and are stepping up in a
