I expect that this means the evaluation process for Rosen is complete at least in the mind of Flores. Can't imagine why you'd start Fitzpatrick over Rosen if you harbored any idea that Rosen would be your potential starter next year. I think Tua needs to figure out what number he'll take as #13 is unavailable in Miami. Tua to Miami seems a lock.

You mean you don't have confidence in the guy who brought us Charles Harris, Devante Parker, Leonte Caroo, Cordrea Tankersley, Issac Isiata, Jamil Douglas, etc.? Yeah, me neither.

If they were legitimately trying, it's all the more pathetic. I think we can safely announce, "Miami is on the clock."

And if you were Miami's GM that might happen but, Grier and Ross aren't going to do that. Ross covets a franchise QB and there's no way Grier is going to pass on Tua or Herbert especially after Grier talked him out

How about SEVERAL linemen and recievers?
Oh, I think they'll draft several lineman and receivers, but only after they pick their QB. Again, I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but I've watched enough football to know that teams don't throw away an entire season and likely go winless for receivers and/or lineman. I think Ross is determined to get a franchise QB and I believe that if Tua isn't i

Only my opinion, but Ross and Grier didn't construct this horrifically bad roster so they could draft offensive and defensive lineman and not get whoever they think is a franchise QB, likely Tua. Right or wrong, that's the direction they're headed and they're willing to suffer the indignity of going 0-16 to get him. Grier is betting his job that Tua is the real deal. For the sake of the team, I h

I agree that the jets fans have it even worse than Miami. I never thought the jets were a playoff team and I'm not surprised they stink. What the jets fans should be wringing their hands over is having Gase as their coach. He is perhaps the most overrated "offensive guru" in league history. I only wish I'd coached Peyton Manning because then I'd could've parlayed that into a head coachi

“Speak to anybody in this business — he had the Dolphins at hello,” emphasized Eisen.
“I heard at the Draft in Dallas two years ago (2018) that the Dolphins coveted Tua.”
Like I said, I have no idea if Eisen has inside information or not but there's an awful lot of talk out there about Miami wanting Tua and then the most obvious tank job since Indy did it for Luck. I have no idea

I guess it depends on who the player is. If it's someone like Peyton Manning, you take the player. If it's someone like Ja

I saw quite a bit of criticism from the local media about Howard's play at Dallas and I think it's pretty unfair. I don't care how good a cover corner you are, you can cover someone all day. Dak Prescott had enough time to write a letter in the pocket. Eventually, a receiver gets open. The criticism should be toward players like Charles Harris, a first round pick who got outplayed by a guy who wa

That's always a possibility but there is a definite allure to being the #1 overall pick in the draft. If Tua goes back for his senior season, there's no guarantee that he will be the #1 pick in 2021. There a

We've gotten so bad that when we were down by 18, I was just hoping the clock would run out quickly so the margin of defeat wouldn't be increased.

Starting Rosen is the best thing for everyone except maybe Josh Rosen. If O'Shea doesn't have a bunch of quick 3 step drops and throws up his sleeve, he's going to get Rosen killed. That's the only way to keep him upright.

He has three first round picks in 2020 and 2 in 2021. He has five picks in the first two rounds of 2020. If he can't rebuild the roster with that sort of draft capital, he should be fired and never allowed to work for an NFL franchise ever again. That would be tantamount to out Tannenbauming Mike Tannenbaum. No explanations, no mitigating circumstances, no extenuation, no palliation, no woulda co

Well, unless they've decided to trade Xavien Howard for a 1st round pick, we've run out of players worth a 1st round pick. I guess Grier will now start advertising the players that are on the clearance aisle.
