I'm fine with it. First of all, I trust Flores to do whatever he thinks is the best thing for the long-term success of the team. Secondly, we need to know whether Tua is the franchise QB we all want him to be. Particularly given that we have two number one picks in next years draft (one of which could be quite high if Houston will cooperate and keep losing). There are some good QB prospects in ne

Bicep injury which may end his season. I feel bad for Davon. He's a hard worker and plays his heart out. That said, it's an injury we might be able to weather due to emergence of Zach Sieler and hopefully Raekwon Davis continuing to develop. We shall see.

My takes from the game. Van Ginkel looks pretty damn good. He's earned more playing time regardless of Lawson's status. Ditto regarding Ogbah. Great effort. Boyer had a decent game plan by attacking the Niners where they were particularly vulnerable. Jason Sanders has been money. Xazien Howard looking better and better. I know that he's still not 100% from his injury but it looks

JC, this will be my last post on the subject. First off, I appreciate that we can discuss the topic in an intelligent and respectful way. Some on this board seem to have an inability to do this. I will only say that we can agree to disagree about whether this thread relates to Dolphins football. I'd quote Colonel who expressed it pretty much as I interpret Curt's rules and I quote one of his post

Thanks for you input, JC. As with everything these days, opinions can vary rather drastically. I fail to see how Colin Kaepernick has any relationship to a Miami Dolphins forum. He's never played for the Dolphins and isn't even on an NFL roster. My interpretation of Curt's rules are that Miami Dolphins discussions pertain to Miami Dolphins on the field matters. The opinions that relate to soci

All the political bullshit that seems to find its way on this board is why I rarely look at it anymore. On a side note, the above comment may be one of the most anti-American ones I've read in a long time. Free

Gives some opportunities to players that might not otherwise have gotten them. I'm interested in seeing Kirk Merritt. 4.33 speed and crazy athletic. It's a long shot, but you never know?

Finally. What a colossal bust Harris is. 3.5 sacks in three years. I truly hope that Grier did a better job of evaluating his picks this year than when he picked Harris in the first round. Well, at least we got a 7th rounder for him. Honestly, I didn't think we'd even get that.

There's no way of knowing how good the first round has been because it all depends on a number of things that we don't know. If Tua remains healthy, it'll be a great first round. Is his health a concern, of course, but there's no way we have as much information as the team does. Looking at Tua's tape, he is a very accurate passer with a more than adequate arm to stretch the field. He won't play n

Adam Schefter tweeted that there are reports that Miami wants to trade up to #3 to select an offensive tackle. This would make no sense whatsoever. I have to assume it's misdirection to make people think that they're not looking at QB with their first pick. Picks #1 and 2 are pretty much set with Burrow and Young. That leaves 3 and 4 between Miami's #5 pick. Why would Miami trade up when the only

I wonder what the score would've been when Miami played NE the last game of the season if Miami had the Tennessee offensive line but everything else was the same? Fitzpatrick was a lot more effective than Tannehill even though he was being pressured on literally every down. You have to believe that we'd have run the ball a lot better and with more time, Fitz might've had a much better game. There

I have to say it. Flores winning four games with this roster is nothing short of astonishing. I thought the odds were monumentally against this team winning one game. I wasn't even sure it could compete on the same level as most of the teams on the schedule. To win four games with a roster almost half of which were undrafted free agent rookies is unheard of. I'm not saying Flores is the second co

Colonel, I share your disappointment, but looking at the two rosters, forgetting the records, the Giants actually have a much better roster at this point. Barkley is elite. Their offensive line may not be rife with all pros, but is a far sight better than ours. That Flores has kept the team in most of the games is a tribute to him, but at a certain point, without talent, the results are inevitabl

The positives from my standpoint are that Ford really stepped up and had a nice game. Laird showed that even with horrible run blocking, a good running back can make players miss and get some positive yardage. 48 yards on 15 carries isn't an eye popping number, but it's a far cry from what the team was getting from Ballage. It was at least a semblance of a running game. Sanders had a nice game an

I wanted to win the game, no doubt. With that said, if we'd won that game, it would've really affected our draft pick. We stayed at number 4 with the loss. If we'd won, we would've moved down to #8 behind Cincinnati, NYG, Wash, Detroit, Arizona, Jacksonville, and the jets. Then, with two games coming up that are winnable (i.e. NYG and Cincinnati) we could've conceivably fallen out of the top ten.

One other option that I've thought about is the following scenario. Let's say that we're picking number 2. There's little doubt that Cincinnati is going to pick Burrow number

Right now, we're picking third. Cinci and NYG are ahead of us. The Giants still have Washington and us on the schedule. If we lose to the Giants, we'll likely be picking second. Cinci would have to win a game in addition to beating us, for us to be picking first. The only game other than us that is a possible win for the bengals is the jets game. They play the browns twice and the pats. I think

Mark Walton was waived today. Apparently he must have had another brush with the law. Sadly, that means a lot more Ballage and his 1.9 yards a carry average. I really hope we get to see more Laird and Gaskin. Clearly with the substandard run blocking, we need a quicker more elusive back.

I love (being sarcastic here) at how after the two game win streak, sportswriters were saying how Miami was screwing itself regarding draft positioning and that it was really counter productive and after yesterday's game they're criticizing the weak roster and the toughness of the players. At least be consistent. What I saw yesterday was in a lot of ways encouraging. Several players look like
