The lesson of the first three weeks for Tony S. has to be this. Last year, you kept games close and managed to pull them out. This year, you are keeping them close and then failing in every aspect of the game down the stretch. Maybe it's time to cut the crap with the wussy style of punt and kick every time there is a 4th and more than half inch. Just sayin' Make this team show it has some

You think a guy who wouldn't go for a 4th and 2 and the opposing 5 despite paying about 3 billion dollars on Oline talent in the off-season is going to spread it out? This is what we are going to get with Sparano until the talent level goes way up. The conservative approached helped last year, but now that the defense seems determined to give up big plays every time they need a stop I'm not l

In the realm of NFL player legal transgressions, being a dickhead to cops and parking illegally seems pretty tame. Ashumoga got franchised so that route is pretty much dead. The Dolphins need draft picks and shouldn't trade them even for a guy like that (and Parcells probably won't anyway). If you want to upgrade CB through FA, I think Bodden is a good enough flyer. If he is a complete moro

I think Leigh Boddens should be the target here. He was just cut by the Lions.

I live up in NE and I'll say this, Roosevelt Colvin was on yesterday and the guys were trying to get him riled up about the Clark hit on Mcgahee and also on Wes Welker. His response, "Wes knew when he was kid that he was signing up to play football, not checkers." That's a condensation of what he said, which was longer and more in detail and of course Colvin is a defensive guy but he

Maybe not, but what is wrong with my last post, NEFF? I'm talking about specific plays. You want to talk about those or do you want to trade insults?

The third one was also bad, throwing into triple coverage. I have no idea how the Ravens had that much pressure on him and could still triple cover, which is probably what Chad was thinking. The first INT was 60/40 to Pennington, who overthrew, I just think Ginn could have done more to not let it just fly away above his head. Maybe he just can't jump. The second one, sorry, a little inciden

I think it says something that they have not offered Crowder anything, and I doubt they will do much to keep him. I agree on Bell coming back. I am not smart enough to predict what they will do with the OL. I would like to see some upgrades there.

It was enough because the Dolphins won all the games they had to in order to win the division. And they kept the Pats and the Jets on the outside looking in. A playoff win would have been nice but coming off of 1-15 there is not much more you can honestly hope for. I do think the Dolphins drew the toughest match and probably would have done well against the Chargers and ok against the Colts.

There are plenty of areas to get better. WR it would be nice to add someone but I think with a healthy Camarillo they are not as bad. I like Bess as a Welker-type although obviously can't expect him to be that good. I think if you build the offense around quick hits to the wideouts rather than a ton of deep balls they will be ok. I think if you can convince Asomugha then he is the type of s

Ginn would be a great 2nd or 3rd option on a team that already had a good number 1 option. I am bitter because there was a draft board full of great players that got skipped over for him, and because of my aforementioned disgust with tOSU. In a sense, I thought the selection of Ginn on draft day was a precursor to the Camster's style, and that style led to a 1-15 season. I hope that Ginn p

Well, it was a good run but too many mistakes. They were built on not making mistakes so when the mistakes happen it is tough to overcome. They didn't let themselves get pushed around too much though and they didn't really fold so hats off to them for that. And, at least I got to enjoy 6 days of Patriots fans crying. I can't wait to hear them all say how the Patriots were better than the Ph

I don't hate the Dolphins, I think Ted Ginn hurts them more than helps them. Not sure why that doesn't compute.

Gotta hand it to the D they were pushed around for a long time in the first half but have stiffened up after all of the turnovers and kept this a game rather than a joke.

Well at least some respectibility! Now let's get a 3 and out and try to steal this game.

I would be happy to have Henning around, I think he's done a great job. It's just frustrating that they can't keep something going. It just seems like he has to overthink sometime to compensate for lack of skill, I'm hoping some more skill arrives next year. If Parcells leaves I am seeing a quick fall. This is not like the team that Jimmy Johnson left Dave Wannstedt to slowly destroy. It c

Why not just keep doing what you were doing until the Ravens show they can stop it? I hope next year, the offense can step up so that Dan Henning doesn't have to out-think himself anymore. He has done a great job in general but too many times this offense got too cute when down.

I do think the Dolphins are playing with house money at this point, but I would like to have seen something besides them looking like a Division III intramural team in this game.

Have to admire fighting, but come on, Patrick, fighting for another inch to make it 4th and 8.5 instead of 4th and 9, you gotta protect the football first.

Well, apparently another thing the Dolphins need to work on in the off-season is how to read a punt. Bess gave up 10-15 yards of FP by not getting over there for the fair catch. That ball bounced 12 yards out of the end zone. Can't let that happen. Just stupid. For all the talk of Flacco the rookie on the road, the Dolphins are the ones playing like they don't belong.

The hold on Fasano was killer. Absolutely can't make that kind of mistake in that situation. Although really it was brought on by Ronnie Brown's unwillingness to move north south, causing Fasano to have to hold his block for longer than he should have been asked.

I like to see more Polite, but Ricky has the speed to take it to the ends. I agree that Ronnie Brown looks like he is trying out for Dancing with the Stars rather than playing football. I would also like to see a little more of the TEs. If the Ravens are taking away Cobb then that means a TE has to be getting some more room. But, really, the story is that the Dolphins are getting their

I forgot about that, he never ever ever helps when the ball isn't coming to him. If the Dolphins could dress more than two receivers, this guy would have been cut in the pre-season.

Why couldn't Ginn have been injured instead of Bess? Seriously this guy is the worst skill position player in the NFL. No heart, doesn't run routes well, gets no separation, and really did not read that play well at all. Bess would have cut back on a hook just after the first down marker, Ginn has to trip over himself looking for the big play. And I hate hate hate The Ohio State University.
