Ross is just too high on himself, thinking that it was in the bag the whole time and just playing it too cocky and now peytons going to choose a team before we even get a G.D. meeting with him

i dont see us getting pierre garcon, we dont have the cap room and other holes need filled, reggie wayne is a long shot but realistic. Besides with peyton throwing the rock ill take Bess over Garcon any day of the week.

Agreed. If he does make it through this year, we absolutely need to go after a top talent QB in round 1 next year. Manning will give us at best maybe 3-4 years. In reality i see him giving us 2 maybe into a 3rd year of productivity.

i think griese maybe deserved a few more starts, thats been farther back though than i can clearly remember. As for Henne, i think he will go on to have a better career than he had here, still however not going to be great. John beck... maybe... but doubt he would have fared any better than Henne. Everyone else was an absolute flop.

i think flynn would make a good qb to step in for 5 or 6 games when your starter goes down, but i dont know that he would be that good going for 16 or more games a year. As much as i was on the fence about it in previous weeks, i have grown to like the idea of bringing in Manning he has the ability to almost single handedly make us super bowl contenders, plus i feel his surrounding cast here is m

What do you mean, Mike sherman is the one who actually drafted Aaron Rodgers, philbin was there as well, the only question mark is whether or not ireland will be humble enough to listen to there opinion

i absolutely do not want manning, give me RG3 or Flynn, if Philbin signs Flynn, i will trust the decision given that he's spent so much time with him already, im not super high on RG3 because i've never seen sustained success from hybrid run-throw type Qb's in the past, but he seems to have it all together physically. On a side note, whats the deal with Weeden, I never really hear anything abo

i think we will see a much improved team this week, it seems to me that every year for the first preseason game, our first team always sucks it up really bad as compared to the other teams

Mike Vick last year was the Chris Johnson of the year before. No one expected much, and he snuck up on people and exploded with stats, and like johnson this year teams will have his number and aim to stop him

11 year vet 5x pro bowler, i think it would be a good pick up for us, and i doubt that he'll command all that much money.

at the time i posted i was unaware of the $20 million dollar number, so with that kind of space i think we'd be dumb not to try to get him we should still have plenty of room left in the cap for a couple more players.

that would give us just about the best damn line in the league imo, but the problem is affording that, and still having enough cap left to fill other holes

i certainly agree that its a step in the right direction, it'll surely improve our running game, which SHOULD improve our pass game. but i wouldnt bank on seeing the best of puncey until next year.

they would probably cease to be my favorite team, but i suppose that i would still enjoy seeing them win. Kind of the same way i feel about the cardinals.

This may be a question for some of our law specialists here, but in the event that the lockout is still in place what does this mean for the new madden game? I know that its actual release shouldnt be effected, but what about the players names? Without the union in place would they still be able to have the real names placed on all the jerseys? Kind of like in the NCAAA games where there all n
