Question about 'buddy' feature

Date: May 10, 2009 07:10PM As a moderator, I'm embarrassed to admit that I've never used the 'buddy' feature. For this reason, I'm clueless on how to answer the following question I received via PM:
--------- When I add somebody to my buddy list I see their name then it has a date at the end and on top it says "mutual"....What does mutual mean, I'm confused....I dont wanna sound dumb but is it the date they added me as well? -------- Anybody know? Thanks in advance.
