Like who? Which past?

There is history, and it this: One of my firsts posts was about how I thought Tannehill was a bad top ten pick. A&O started calling me a troll, stupid, Jet fan, and a host of other things. He would follow me around and try and start arguments.
Its not like I was gunning for the guy. He was a turd to me when I was a brand new poster, and kept it up after I politely told him he was wrong. When he kept it up, I got a little less polite.

Blast you? When have I blasted you for anything?
Somehow the idea that I'm a previous poster slipped into this board's psyché, and many have decided to not let it go.
Honestly I think its interesting. I don't think I'm beating anyone up for it (except the joker who claimed I had an "agenda"
, but I do think its funny that people will say this with zero evidence.
I know the truth, and this is an exception study on how humans will arrange facts to fit their perceptions and not vice versa. A bit scary, honestly.
BTW - A&O is one that started this whole "previous poster" crap. Just another one of many things he has been wrong about.

Are you talking about A&O, or me?
The way A&O puts it, I'm following him around and urinating on every one of his posts. This is hardly the case, rather quite the opposite.
If you haven't figured out by now, I'm not going to change my mind simply because someone wants to flame me. I bit back once and he through a fit. Typical internet bully...

Since I've been here, I haven't seen this A&O tool post about anything beside me and himself. The only time I've seen him talk about the Dolphins was to briefly mention them while he was flaming me.
I don't think he is leaving because of me. My takes aren't that offensive. I'm echoing what a several other posters have said, but he isn't leaving because of them.
The fact is, this is a rebuilding year. The most interesting part of the season may have been the draft, and if that first preseason game is any sort of preview, this team will be ugly to watch.
I think this A&O cat is frustrated with the team. Besides Tannehill, A&O had run out of good things to speak about. I think he is realizing I'm right about when RT will start. So there isn't a lot to talk about this season, besides the bad things.
This team has been so bad for so long, some people are just sick of it. I think he looks at me, a new poster complaining about the direction of the team and the way the management is running it, and this sets him off.
It is my attitude that A&O fears - there will be no end to the mediocrity, until the ownership makes significant changes at the very top. He is afraid that I may be right. He is even more afraid that he will become as jaded and cynical about the team as me.
So he quit.
I call him a quitter.
