Based on the substantially shortened off season, and lack of productive off-season moves(QB upgrade), I see us having another frustrating year.
It's like we had an awesome muscle car with a bad carburator last year.
During the off-season, we got some new tires, new exhaust and manifolds,
new suspension, and gears.
But we still have the same piece of junk carburator! We addressed everything except the most important issue...QB!!
We'll have a very good D, but I think the O will struggle against other very good Ds.
The shortened off-season will cause us to get off to a slow start. After 6 games being 3-3 or 2-4. The last 10 games going 6-4 or 5-5.
I'm thinking 9-7 or 8-8, and that's being optimistic.
The X-Factor: If Matt Moore goes off in camp, wins the starting job, and improves or QB play by more than 20% or more. OK, now I'm reaching!!

I agree. Saprano Gets fired and deserves it for not seeing Football as a Rounded team sport and not respecting the QB Posistion.
I agree phinsfan, I think Irelands job is safe (barring a 1-15 collapse) and Sparano's on the hot seat. If Ireland was walking the plank he would of overpaid for a McNabb/Hasselbeck or even Orton type of veteran QB.
I'm OK with this by the way, contrary to popular belief on this board, Ireland hasn't done a bad job of rebuilding this team from scratch, he pretty much has us poised to just needing a franchise QB to be an elite team, i'm sure if Henne fails again this year he'll sell the farm for one of the top guys in next years draft.
