Yep that sucks, Sad day for me, Crowder was my boy. Time to move on, Dolphins first!WHo do we have left, Dansby and Dobbins and Ikaika Alama-Francis, Austin SPitler, AJ Edds is gonna play inside maybe instead of outside. WHo else is available? I am guessing the team did if because of how his knee looked bad in physicals or they have an obvious upgrade line up. My freind told me Edds looked strong the other day, alot different then he looked when we drafted him.
on a side not- I am gonna have to think about the name change. I knew this day was coming, and have a few ideas, of which player, I am gonna honor with it...lol
Any ideas who I might choose? The front runner is probably not what you think?

I am a diehard Dolfan, my screenname cant be of a player from another team, it would be against my religion... If he retired because of his knee, I would do it..... but i don t think that will happen.

That is true. But, I think it speaks more to the poor quality of his backups than it does to Crowder. I like Crowder. He's a smart guy who works and plays hard. But, I've always felt he lacks the instincts to make him a top player. He's always been a step slow to get where he needs to be. And that's why the big plays have always been so absent.
Kevin Burnett may be the obvious choice as the replacement. He has history with Sparano and Ireland from his Dallas days. He had a breakout year in 2010 after he was moved to ILB.
Stephen Tulloch is probably the cream of the free agent crop, though. He won't come cheaply.

Great Move. Guy was a waste .All Mouth , didn't back it up. Anyone can fill in and do a better job. Glad they realized it . God I miss #54.......
Maybe they are feeling better about Jared Odrick ?

I got it! Downwithpublicemployeeunions.52?
Berk- I like your thinking Pouncey63 has a nice ring to it, and your perception accurate as usual, it keeps with my Gator roots,
Chryen- that has a nice ring to it as well, and very descriptive, but I am thinking it might draw some extra heat, in an alreadys lopsided debate as far as numbers go... and I would have to have my local hyperlink in subtext below..lol
PF2- thanks I will do that... MLB's I am probably going to stay away from in my moniker...but I will say I am really excited about seeing AJ Edds play this year
The guys I like for obvious reasons, is Pouncey63, VontaeDavis21, Marshall19. Wake91
SO far a toss up, I like Pouncey because of keeping the gator roots,
VOntae Davis, I have been a defender and fan since we signed him, I like his style and attitude,
Wake91- he is an animal, one of my favorite players last year, but i worry about his contract situation, he might be unhappy this year if we dont pay the man..and i have only been a fan for one year
And finally I like Marshall becasue he is a beast and keeps with controversial nature like CHanning Crowder was... I kind of enjoy people in debates taking shots at the player I have as my namesakes, it is kind of funny and gives me a leg up... Choosing Marshall19 would surely keep that tradition going for me
not sure, I am gonna have to sleep on it, until the answer becomes clear

It wouldn't shock me too much. This organization made a number of questionable cuts last year. Why would we cut our best special teams player and former CB starter? Why would we cut a productive OLB and leave ourselves with a rookie and a 2nd-year player? etc..etc..

We thats what i was missing.......His age....These players are well trained maybe he is still got 2 or 3 years left...
I still want to see him play for the phins a couple of more years just for his experience and he hasn't seemed to slow down at his age. He can still play.
