I think he is better than Henne. Too bad Pennington hadnt done to much with Thigpen like he did with Henne.

this is a smart move. at worst we get something in return for him if he leaves, as supposed to just cutting him. I think we should keep him anyway, he's got more upside the henne

Yes he does. I say draft Mcleroy start Thigpen for half the season, and if he sucks put in Mcleroy, and try and trade henne for somthing, a 5th? 6th? round pick maybe?

Ugh, I bet Mia1 went and rubbed one out over this. But seriously, the hope is that someone snatches him up and we can get a pick out of him. It would be the most we've gotten out of him so far.

If, as expected, the new CBA makes players with 4 years of experience unrestricted free agents, then this tender will be voided.

Good move. I find these guys like Thigpen and Brandstater intriguing. Seems like once your labeled a journeyman it gets hard to be taken seriously though, unless an injury occurs.

No no. He doesn't suck. He just needs a couple more years of development, a better O-Line, better running game, better WRs, better QB Coach, better play calling, and a better offensive system. Then he'll be all world and will break all of Marino's records!
