PhinFans2, I don't see any QBs except Gabbert, Mallett, and Newton going in the first round. Maybe Locker. Maybe.

All these QB's were great at their respective colleges, (Newton, Gabbert, Mallett, Kaepernick and even Stanzi) but Christian Ponder was average at best.

He was never a stand out. His Florida St. teams were terrible and he was never even the best QB in his conference. What makes this guy all of a sudden a 1st round pick??????

He should be a 5-7th round pick. Not any higher than that. Tell me something he done at Florida St to justify being picked higher than that.

that's what I think Aqua. Ponder never dominated at the college level. I think at a minimum you need to be huge at the college level to even think about warranting a first round pick

According to QB draft models, McElroy is projected to be franchise QB material; the next Tom Brady, a steal in the draft - and this was way before he took the Wonderlic test.

He could be a wise choice for whoever picks him up in a later round.

If he had a cannon, he would be the next comming of Marino. LOL ok lets not go that far, but seriously he would be the top QB in this draft.

I like Dalton over This guy. I don't believe Marino did well on that Test at all. I agree its about insticts, you can teach most of these guys anything if they have the motivation. You can't Teach insticts and intangebles. They either have it or they don't. I like the fact that Miami worked out alot of these guys privately. Hopefully they pick up on a winner.

Kaepernick is my favorite in the draft. I really hope Miami trades down , gets a 2nd rounder and picks him up in the 2nd round. Pick up a O lineman with a high #1. Grab a running back or a tight end in the 3rd and 4th. After that go for best players available.

Our #1 priority in the later rounds should be depth and special Teams. Our Special Teams blew last year.

I think he will be a great lawyer or Doctor in about 3 or 4 years.

Also didnt he have the highest completion percentage of 40 yards plus out of ANY college QB last year???

Pretty good for a noodle arm huh, or a docter, lawyer as Aqua would annoint.

He only threw nine interceptions in the last two years.

Only lost 3 games since the 7th grade.

He is projected to be a late round qb, and no one here has the common sense to say hey lets take a stumble and use a 5th round pick on this guy? Really? You guy's think he is that horrible? Won BCS title, lost 3 games since 7th grade or somthing close to that at least. Won a title in HS. The guy win's, and win's and win's and well he win's some more, but your right lets go get a guy with a higher pick, less completion percantage, and more INT to TD ratio just because he is 6"5 and run's a good 40 or has a cannon of a arm, and also steal's labtops or smokes alot of pot.

More to life then Money. Alot of these NFL players are not 1/2 as happy as I am. Although I'd be alot more happy if we could find a decent QB and win a few Championships.........

When I worked for Arcadia aviation, we had Blackwater planes flying all the time, comming and going. So no biggie to me.

blackwater sounds cooler than Xe.
