Good god I think Im rubbing off on a, because you agree 100 percent with me. These are tear's of joy.
Its only a gay statement, if you think of it as a gay comment.
So for somone who is self proclaimed, not gay, then why bring the comment at question a gay comment?
See it's intent was to insure that my antic's and way of thiking are starting to translate mentally to you, which is why I insighted rubbing off on ya.
Apparantly since your still on the outside looking in, A man stroking his "ego" was the first image that popped in your mind, would make me ask why would that be the first thing associated by my comment, then would make me question if you are a closet case.

Maybe you are to listen to your own advice for once in your life.
I do. Again I have zero problem with people, who are open minded, and give and take, and when I cross a line on somone and they let me know about it, I appologize.
You on the other hand, have yet to show that quality. That to me is the differance, which is humility, I believe to have it, where I don't believe you do.

Well you can pull up alot of post by SamSam, and Aqua, and then realize that many upon MANY of these post go south, because of the comment's they leave, that inevitably take's the thread to the south, because I allow them to sucker me into the web of stupidness, just to bash another thread.
I will appologize Ranger, it just get's old real quick, and It's hard for me to not respond to some of the hatemail.
Yes we'd need to retool on offense, but we are in pretty decent shape as far as the WCO goes.
Brown and Cobbs would be assets in passing situations, but we'd need to get a fast, young, running back to carry most of the rushing load.
Bess is taylor made for the WCO because of his quickness.
Marshall would be an asset because of his size.
Hilliard has the size to make the switch to FB and he is much more of a pass catching threat than Polite is and he can run the ball well enough for the position...the question is does he possess the blocking ability.
We'd need to re-tool a bit on the O-Line because we'd need more athletic guards and maybe a RT....but we need to do that anyway.
We'd need to add a speed WR, to stretch the field...but we need to do that anyway.
The WCO also would allow Moore and Wallace more of a chance to shine and develop route running ability.
We'd need to add a quality, athletic, pass catching TE...but again, we need to do that anyway.
I think that Henne and Thigpen could benefit greatly from a switch to a WCO because it allows quarterbacks to throw to spots on the field instead of waiting for receivers to come open much of the time. It also relies on quick plays such as slants, etc. It makes pre snap reads much more critical however and that could be a concern as could the accuracy of idividual throws.
Beyond that, a young quarterback would have to be drafted as a means of competition and as a fall back if Henne and Thigpen can't cut it in camp...just the smart thing to do.
I think our priorities in the draft remain the same as they are now...with a switch to the WCO. So the off season strategy remains the same as it is should be now.
Childress is the most proven coach and has, far and away, the best resume out of our current options...out of the group so far, he'd be my choice as OC.

Agreed We need an influx of talent on this offense top to bottom. We need to just redo the offense.
Young QB, RB 2 WRs. A couple of interior OL. A Pass catching TEnd who can block.
And its going to take time. We are in it for the long run.
I don't think our personnel is a bad fit for the WC offense aside from Henne. QB will still have to be able to throw the deep ball and play action and he hasn't even come close to showing he can do that.
Ronnie can catch very well and our WR's would be a great fit if they can pick up the offense in one season. Marshall would be great in a "Jerry Rice" role and Hartline as the "Taylor".
We would definitely need a new QB which we already do anyway. I would be curious to see what Childress and other coaches thought of MCNabb and if he still has "it".
Henne should be no more than a backup at this point....maybe even a 3rd QB as I think Thigpen has just as much upside and can actually move the offense and he has the mobility that is needed for WCO.
