I dont see the Garcia comparison (please dont take that personal Mia1, I am not bullying you).

Garcia is a shorter, more west coast offense style QB that has short to mid range passing capabilities.

THigpen is taller, he is mobile, but he seems to have great deep ball accuracy.

I see THigpen more of a gunslinger and Garcia more of a west coast offense QB.

Thigpen = Romo
Garcia = Bruce Gradkoski

If the offense clicks under Thigpen and we start scoring TDs (and reduce our turnovers), I think there will be a legit reason to keep him in. I remember when Belichick when against the grain and kept Brady in when Bledsoe came back. If something like that happens here, I'm all for going with Thigpen over Henne.

I don't like it when quarterbacks lose their jobs due to an injury...but if Thigpen plays well and we win with him, then he should continue to play. That is until Henne gets well and takes the job back, if he can...

In any event we'd be set up to have a real battle for the position in the off season.

It's a win win situation for everyone...best player plays in 2011 provided there is a 2011.

You know something we don't know? You ARE referring to the NFL season, right? Not the end of the world. eye popping smiley

O gosh, don't let that happen. This board would implode if Henne actually won his job back fair and square.

LOL, Yes the NFL season...but since you brought it up...the end of the world would be on 12-21-2012 and I personally don't buy that scenario at all...no disrespect to the Mayans. So that would technically be the end of the 2012 NFL season

Hey it just said the world as we know it, people forget the "know it" part which could mean ANYTHING, like we might stop using all fossil fuels, or somthing stupid that would end, like the use of all chalk boards?

So yeah the world as we know it would end, but a new world will begin.

That is what I laugh about lol.

I always proof read my posts--really missed the "way" for "wait." I am typing it correctly 10 times on the computer just for being so damn inept.

Thiggy doesn't remind me of anybody but a third stringer behind a very questionable 1st stringer and a fragile 2nd stringer who is done for the season. Having said that I feel that we should let him ride out the rest of the season and in the off season draft a No. 1 and bring in a veteran backup. Release Henne and Thiggy in the offseason, unless he gets us into the playoffs.

Ok Welead I have tried to sick up with you but Cmon on man please stop being so negative.

Give him a chance, I mean he is ten times better than Any other third stringer in the game, which includes Brady Quinn.

I feel your frustration however dude come on man enjoy tonight and have a drink on me!!smileys with beer

We'll see wont' we. I'm guessing Thiggy has a decent next two games but can you really expect him to play well against the Pats, Jets and Buffalo down the stretch? If we would have split our home games against the Jets and the Pats then I would be more optimistic.

The knock on Thiggy from Chiefs fans is that he fails to make big plays, especially in the second half. To not take this seriously is just naive. He's 1-11 as a Chiefs starter. The Dolphins NEED a No. 1 drafted QB next year.

Welead he made big plays for us last week.

The Chiefs sucked hard dude, they had nothing for a running game, and everyone on that team played dissenhearted.

Look all I am asking is hold your reserve to throw him under the bus untill after tonight lets see what he does on limited preperation with a banged up crew against the leagues 2nd best defense.
