sharper might be a good aquisition, but only for 2 maybe 3 years, i would make sure if we get him to still make a safety priority in the draft for sharper to groom.

He's the Vet leader our secondary needs. Someone to keep all the kids in the right place and someone to keep control out there. Our secondary is young assuming we start Vonte and Sean. We need a vet like Sharper to keep everyone in order.

I would LOVE this addition if we were to pull it off.

Sharper is the kind of guy in an UNCAPPED year you give a short 3 year deal too which is all front loaded in years 1 and 2.

You can overpay big-time for a guy like this and not get burned

He made a ton of plays last year. Sign him and DRAFT a young Morgan Burnett as his understudy.

Word is he was used perfectly in N.O. to mask his deficiencies. We would have to do the same.

We will kick ourselves if we pass on Earl Thomas and he becomes the next Ed Reed/Troy Polomalu.

We still have 5 starting spots to fill. NT, SOLB, WOLB, FS & WR.

Luckily the draft is heavy on those positions as is free agency. My 2 cents:

We will likely be youngest team in the NFL this year btw after todays releases. Only 3 players 30 or older, 4 woith Pennington.

FS - Ryan Clark - Berry wont be there that late in round 1. There are also some solid players in the 2,3,4 round of draft for here

NT - I'm thinking Tank Johnson who has yet to be resigned or draft Dan Williams/Next best NT in round 2 aside from Cody unless big time weight clause in contract

WOLB - Putting it all on Wake. Love the guy

SOLB - Kindle/Sapp one or the other in Round 1

WR - Put everything else on hold is Bryant falls to number 12. Otherwise Antonio Bryant and possible one year deal to Mason as short term help. Good 3,4 rnd talent here too. Wouldnt give up picks for this position.

TE - We need help here too. If we can barter for Olsen cheap go for it but I doubt it. Fasano should be back as RFA. Maybe Jimmy Graham if he falls to a later round. Guy has huuuge upside.

You can't bring Tank Johnson to Miami. He would be in jail within a month. Wrong City for him. Bad fit.

I'm starting to think after today, we go for a speed pass rusher in Rd 1. Have someone to put with Wake and probably JT. Dansby and Crowder in the middle.

Find a Saftey somewhere in free agency. Then we fill DT in the 2nd and/or 3rd rounds of the draft.

What we do at WR....I don't know. Maybe Mason as a 1 year stop-gap and worry about it next year. Or a trade. Can't fix the entire team in one offseason. We have too many holes

LOL, fair enough. im for second chances and he played/acted well in cincy this year. The trifecta not as forgiving.

Cincy ain't Miami.

From mid-October thru December in Cincy you go home every night cause its cold, possible snow, and nothing to do. In Miami that ain't the case.

I got no problem signing the guy, if our team wasn't located in MIAMI!

I would prefer Ryan Clark....but sharper would make sense if you're planning to draft a young safety and let him watch Sharper for a year.

Excuses are tools of the incompetent...those who specialize in them rarely specialize in anythine else

I REALLY hope Clemons can step it up in year 2. He's about the fastest safety in the league.
