Date: March 03, 2010 07:51AM Crash is a heck of a guy. I've gotten to know him a little over the years, and have had him on my show several times.
He's got a dry sense of humor and is actually pretty funny. One of my great memories came from a couple of years ago. I had a friend come into town with his boys. He's a (gasp) Jets fan, but I got us all tickets to the game, and then found Crash while we were tailgating...he picked up a football and started throwing it with the kids and they had a blast. Later, when I explained who he was they were thrilled. They caught passes from an actual NFL QB. And at least one of them decided that maybe he really did like the Dolphins after all.
