These are the dolphins 2010 Free Agents as I understand them Update as you will. Who do we resign?
1. Devone Bess; ERFA
I say resign him for at least two more years and let him develop into our slot reciever.
2. Anthony Fasano; UFA
Very streaky player. I say sign him to a two year deal if possible while looking for a drafted upgrade.
3. Jason Ferguson; UFA
If he wants one more year give it to him. Let him further bring along some of the young guys
4. Joey Haynos; ERFA
Let him go or keep him to compete as a number 2
5. Quentin Moses; RFA
I dont know that anyone else will give up picks for him. He played a bit more this weekend. Maybe just seeing what he has. He did decent. He is a guy I like.
6. Jason Taylor; UFA
One more year and then let him retire. He will likely come cheap. Have him play the same role as this year on early downs. Great leader, good teacher.
7. Ronnie Brown; UFA(Dependant on the CBA)
I say sign him to at least a three or four year deal dependong on where the market is for him. Despite injuries in my opinion, he is one of the elite backs and I dont think he is slowing down as others are.
Ricky Williams was on this list but is signed through 2010 now I believe.
I think that Nate Garner was resigned at some point this year.
Drops: I am a firm believer in letting Joey Porter go.
I think its time to use a high draft pick for ILB and sign a big time reciever.
iam hoping we sign a playmaker te , and resign fasano
i have seen more upside in k sperry + we still have j nalbone
thats why i fell we could/should let haynos go
i fell we will wait till end of fa /not b4 draft to see if we
sign any nt , if we dont then fergi comes back

You can't trade a free agent. If there is no new CBA, then Ronnie is a restricted free agent, because the uncapped year requires 6 years of service time to be an unrestricted free agent. If they do work out a new CBA, there is an option that kicks in for Ronnie to get a 1 year, $5M deal for 2010.
2. Anthony Fasano; Keep until we get something better, agree with 2 year deal.
- Need to draft a TE. This offense needs talent at that position and we don't have what we need. Look as Whitten or Gonzalez for the right kind of guy
3. Jason Ferguson; Ditto with above
4. Joey Haynos; Bye Bye
5. Quentin Moses; No big loss IMHO if he goes
6. Jason Taylor; Keep if the proice remains reasonable - Not essential, but saves a draft pick that is needed elsewhere
7. Ronnie Brown; Agree sign him - Keeper
************ Other things
1. Upgrade Channing Crowder - He is weak and more mouth than action
2. Upgrade #1 WR - is amust. Trade Ginn if we get something, keep him if not
3. Trade or cut Jason Allen
KEEP- BESS, HAYNOS, FERGI, RONNIE B, NATE JONES (not listed)
DRAFT
ILB- to go next to Crowder to teach him some instincts (instincts cannot be taught, this i a joke)
WR- someone DEPENDABLE with hands for catching and legs for running routes
OLB- Someone not only to rush but also take care of his coverage responsibilities
FS- a BALL HAWK
RB-more meat for the grinder that is the RB position.
