RESPONSE: It's all the fault of modern people like you! What's wrong with good old fashion names like Bill, Sam, Dave, Joe or Kareem!
IMO at this point dantae davis is the better player. Faster Better tackler, bigger hitter.....Makes impact plays at the right moment.....Like a couple of ints in the enzone this year....ETC.
And thats not a knock on smith. He is doing very well for a rookie as well.
With that been said they both have gotten beat at times because of rookie mistakes. I knew it would happen.......((((((DO YOU ALL REMEMBER MARINOS FAKE SPIKE AGAINST THE JETS......WHAT ROOKIE WAS COVERING INGRAM?????That rookie turned out pretty good didn't he??lol
They both have the talent to be great in the future.

End of debate? Hardly. Both were rookies. Davis has more raw talent. Smith has size. They're both going to be great.
We all know that they are both gonna be great. But the debate is pretty clear cut when one guy is ranked dead last and the other guy is ranked 16th.
Dontae (as SamSam says) had 4 INT's to Sean's zero, but that doesnt mean Davis had the better season. *Overall* the statistics prove that Sean Smith had the better season.
Either way, we as fans should feel pretty good about the future.
Regardless of what the pundits and statisticians say, I have formed my own personal opinions after watching both guys all year with my own eyes. I definitely feel good about the future. I think Chris Clemmons is going to be part of that future, too.
