An awesome performance was choked away tonight. CHOKE ARTIST TEDD GINN dropped the game winner. And I dont care about any of his other catches or the other TD he couldn't catch. I am talking about the one that hit him in both hands in the endzone with seconds left.
I WANT HIM GONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNE! OHIO STATE CHOKE ARTIST!

We need a premium receiver bad. The pass was great, thou Chad really crapped up the whole last 3 minute drill. So sloooooooooooooo, like we had all damn day. They NEED to work on a quick drill, possibly even no huddle. And Ted really does need to go, or at least be dropped to 3rd or 4th receiver. Is Jerry Rice interested in making a comeback? lol...
Just cut ginn. he's afraid of success. He is a loser just like Cam was.
We'd be better off putting turner in the lineup and getting him some experience.
and we may as well bench penny. Not because he sucks...you just can't win a game you have the ball for 44 min and can't stop the offense. May as well get some gametime for Henne.
I feel bad for sparano. His team can't win unless the other team messes up. It won't always be like this, but it is today. Hard to see that happen to a guy like him. He's going to win here before its all said and done...but i have a hard time seeing that it will be this year.
Where are all the people who were absolutely certain Ginn would have a "breakout year" and become an elite receiver? It seems they share names with a lot of the same people calling for him to be cut.
I hate to say I told you so, but he has been, and always will be, a gutless waste of cap-space.
Problem with taking away his other catches, you then take some of our points off the board! He made several key 1st down catches on 3rd down to keep drives alive. Drives that ended in points. He shold have made that catch, but he didn't. It happens to every WR in the league. The first quater miss was a poorly thrown ball, as was the one to Fasano! He had a fair chance at catching it, but lost track of where he was! fasano had to completly stretch out for his. Both would have been TD's if the passes were on target! Bottom line is, that this game should never have come down to Ginns drop i the first place! If the defense shows up, we win!!!!!

RESPONSE: As I said above, this has been happening lately in the NFL in general.
High paid wide receivers, not failing to make the miracle catches of Lynn Swann, not missing on duplicating the great catches of Jerry Rice, but missing damn simple catches that hit them in the hands.
That's why I singled out the wide receiver as a position and not Ginn alone.
They have one responsibility, catch the ball. What's up with these high-paid modern receivers.
"Chad Pennington hooked up with Ted Ginn Jr. for 15 and 21 yards on key third-down plays during the Dolphins’ TD drive to take a 23-20 lead.
On 3rd-and-4, Pennington hit Ginn for 11 yards during the final drive.
With 27 seconds left in the game and Miami behind 27-23, Ginn could not come up with a long pass from Pennington with Colts rookie CB Jacob Lacey in coverage. The ball went off Ginn’s hands.
But on 4th-and-10, Ginn caught a 12-yard pass from Pennington to keep alive the drive."
Ginn isn't going to make every catch! No one in the league does. He helped put us in a positon to win this game and the defense let us down! Not Ginn!
you're right RW13...maybe there is too much pressure on Ginn...but when you have the ball for more than 2x the opposition you have to rely on your playmakers....and that's Ted Ginn jr.
For all the good things he's done for us, the LEAST we should expect is a catch over friggin' Jacob Lacey from our #9 pick overall. And it was just about perfect. If that's too much pressure, then he's a bust for the #09 pick.
Their should have been PI on the last Ginn Endzone drop. The CB grabbed onto Ginn should pad before the ball was their. It almost looked like he pushed upward, Ginn so he was losing his balance.

@@@ Still here, was that a catchable ball....sure, Where was the rest of the receiving corp last night? the kid converted almost every 3rd down last night and was open constantly. No one ever said he will become an "elite receiver" mostsaid he will have a breakout yearand he will. Instead of cutting Ginn how about getting him some help
