"The Miami Dolphins have made a move to address their center position and the poor snapping issues that have plagued the first week of training camp. They have waived offensive lineman Ireland Brown and signed free agent center Sean Harlow........
At least they seem to recognize it and took action to correct it. SMH ... when will they finally adress this position!?Oh thats right .... we needex to sign yet another reciever, RB, and made TUA fat, and Tyrek fatter. Who cares about the oline? Agsin!? They better have a good back up signed because TUA doesnt play well from his back.
Monte discovered Jim Langer's talent as a rookie and boldly put him as the starter over veteran Bob DeMarco at center. He also taught some line engagement techniques that were revolutionary at the time (this was before linemen were allowed to block with their hands/arms extended from their body)
He didn't JUST get lucky. But yeah..those lineman were the greatest. Norm Evans #73 at tackle was also one of my favorites also Wayne Moore....ugh will we ever get back to having the best line?
