Profootballnetwork.com has a great simulator that offers trades two draft hauls
Jack Campbell LB
Tank Dell-Stud WR
Alex Forsyth - C
Camerun peoples - Big RB
Josh Whyle TE
Think Whyle Marshon Ford, Jahleel Billingsley could be later round sleepers than taking a TE at 51
Drew Sanders falling in some
Like Sanders and Jack Campbell at 51, stud LB
Jack Campbell LB
Josh Whyle TE Gesicki replacement watch his tape
DeMarvion Overshown LB
Kenny Mcintosh RB
Aiden Oconnell QB
Anthony Johnson S
Connor Galvan OT
Drew Sanders LB
Tyler Steen OT
Josh Whyle TE
Earl Bostick OT

Looks like Van Ginkle will resign here in Miami. I think he realizes something special is happening on defense with Fagino.
I think we go Oline in the draft or best players available. We have addressed everything but Oline ......again. it always winds up biting us in the ass.
Hard to say. Fangino knows what he wants to accomplish and how to get there. Last time we had a truly great "D" was IMO when Dave Wannstadt was the D co-ordinator.....He was the worst Head coach but he put together a heck of a D with the Tandem of Surtain and Madision. Those two allowed Thomas and JT to roam freely and make plays.
With Howard and Ramsey.....I think we can be better. Upfront a healthy Ogbah and Wilkins letting Van Ginkle and Chubb to thier thing.we could be ever better . Fangino won't do the same thing every week.blitz blitz blitz! Fangino will watch tape and game plan. We have pro bowl calibur strength on the run and the pass.
It could be super special IMO. On defense I'm not seeing a blurring weakness anywhere if everyone stays healthy.
Offense needs to hit that Oline....they must know that . The answer to protecting TUA can't just be Judo lessons.
78. Joe Tippmann OC Wisconsin MIA

Good calls I have Charbonnet, Ekiyore, Whyle, Graham and Peoples on my board. I like Trippmann think he may be gone by 78. Good news is there are some good centers in the draft. Love Charbonnett's power and Peoples' speed. I think resigning 3 of our backs negates us drafting a RB high. Graham I think is the best fit for our O amongst the TE's in this draft. I like Mallory(UMIA) also. Not familiar w/ Dell.
Another. I like dropping down and adding picks, we havent had a lot of luck moving up in recent drafts
Guess it will come down to who drops and how we feel at RB, LB, WR Secondary & OL
I am not sold on our RB Mostert and Wilson both have a history of missing a lot of games
This one Musgrave dropped
Washington, Musgrave, Kinkaid even Laporta look real solid. Landing Musgrave, Achane and Mcintosh would electrify our offense watch their tape, Tune too good to pass on, will take him over Thompson maybe even White. Ward and Pool solid backup or ST additions
58. Luke Musgrave TE Oregon State MIA
89. Devon Achane RB Texas A&M MIA (Reggie Bush 2.0?)
131. Alex Forsyth OC Oregon MIA
158.Clayton Tune QB Houston MIA
160. Kenny McIntosh RB Georgia MIA
163. Jay Ward S LSU MIA
238. Bumper Pool LB Arkansas
Could the Phins roll the dice at 238 or in FA on Jahleel Billingsly? Tremendous talent but can he keep it together and put in the effort? Was a nice target or Mac Jones and Brice Young
High risk high reward

2 Ika DL BAYL
3 Oluwatimi C MI Trade Down NYG pick up a 4
4 Steen T AL Trade Down CHI pick up a 5
4 Mapu S SAC ST Trade Collins/Iggy KC
5 Johnson RB TX
6 Mallory TE MIA
7 Taylor TE CIN
Im standing pat at 58 and picking Ika, nose tackle from Baylor at 58. Think our D needs a solid backup and maybe replacement for Raekwon. This guy solves that problem and is a better rusher.
I have to grab a center in this draft and Im taking Oluwatimi. I remember watching a UVA game in 2021 and just kept focusing on the center. It was Oluwatimi, then he transferred to MI. I like a guy that plays in the ACC and Big 10 and handles his business in both conferences.
Mapu popped up at the combined and wowed folks. Not much tape but I really like what I saw. I think he is tailor made for the modern nfl. A lb/S hybrid.
Steen gets groomed for the future.
Johnson good rb played behind a very good rb TX
I think Mallory was a good TE on a bad UM team. He was flying under the radar but got noticed at the combine. He may not be here at 6 but Im taking him if he is.
I havnt had much time to really research this year's draft......it's off the chain down here in Florida. Everyone and their mother is moving here , add to that MLB training ( I live near the Mets spring training facility ) and Spring break kids .....I've had my plate full.
Let's look at the Teams over stats and you can see why they went defense in free agency:
Total Offense: 6th overall
Rushing 25th over all
Passing 4th overall
Total defense: 18th overall
Rushing 4th overall
Passing 27th
That gives you a good indication were we are and need to go.
Man.if Tua can Stay healthy our offense could become top 5 in the NFL. We need work on the running game and blocking.
Defense Jaylyn Ramsey should help that 27th ranked Passing defense. Rushing we were ranked 4th so the Dline was pretty damn stout despite losing a few starters.
My money is on a blocking TE like Michael Mayer from Notre Dame or OT Damand Jones 6-8 360pounds from Ohio State.
We have tons of speed on both sides of the ball. We need some anchors. BIG powerful studs who don't get hurt when grazed.
I Say we go big and strong , 27th ranked running game is what did Marino in every yr. Learn from our past. Our defense should be well improved. Hit that oline and get some big bodies out there to protect TUA and open lanes.
Philosophically, strengthening the OL and TE blocking seems like the place to expend resources.
Better health on the defensive side and the addition of Ramsey should make our pass D quite a bit better. Our rushing D was probably artificially inflated as offenses chose to pass against our relatively weaker pass D...or were, in some cases, playing from behind and having to try to catch up.
All that said, I could see us having top 10 on both sides.
Mizou 15 we only have 4 picks today think they are
51, 84, 197 238 can't get additional picks without moving down from 51 & 84
Pro football network has a great simulator that throws trades at you some times
74. Joe Tippmann OC Wisconsin MIA
84. Tucker Kraft TE South Dakota State MIA
108.Tyler Steen OT Alabama MIA
126. Emil Ekiyor Jr. OG Alabama MIA
197. Mohamed Ibrahim RB Minnesota MIA
238. Josh Whyle TE Cincinnati Or Jahleel Billingsley TE
Check their tape
Tippman, Steen and Ekiyopur could be a huge OL upgrade
Whyle or Billingsley could be huge weapons in our offense at 238 both more athletic weapons than Gesicki plus adding Kraft early
add Mohammed Ibrahim or Israel Abanikanda sleeper Late round RB

Right Jlyell13, that mock from me was full of speculation. I do think we will trade down in both 2nd and 3rd rounds.
If we draft with the 4 picks we have now I would think we would draft something like this.
2 Tippmann C WI
3 Spears RB TULANE
6 Fisher OL Shepard
7 Whiteheart TE WAKE
Tippmann a stud center, Spears w/ Waddle and Hill would make D coordinators heads spin. Fisher and Whiteheart might be reaches but could pan out. I just don't think we go TE in the 2nd or 3rd. There will be veteran TE's out there in free agency.
74. Blake Freeland OT BYU MIA
84. Tank Bigsby RB Auburn MIA
126. Will Mallory TE Miami (FL) trade icon MIA
144. Jarrett Patterson OG Notre Dame MIA
197. Josh Whyle TE Cincinnati MIA
238. Alex Forsyth OC Oregon
Freeland Patterson and Forsyth added to the OL
Bigsby quick, strong elusive RB
Whyle like a big WR. He or Jahleel Billingsley would be great late value additions to Kraft, Mallory, Musgrave earlier
How about this one with trade downs? This would be killer
67. Tucker Kraft TE South Dakota State MIA
84. Tank Bigsby RB Auburn MIA
119.Jarrett Patterson OG Notre Dame MIA
158.Jaxson Kirkland OT Washington MIA
195.Jay Ward S LSU MIA
197. Alex Forsyth OC Oregon MIA
238. Jahleel Billingsley TE Texas
Belichick trade down for value mock turned 4 into 7, a top TE & RB, 3 OL and LB and Safety/St depth

84. Tank Bigsby RB Auburn MIA
88. Tyler Steen OT Alabama MIA
146.Jon Gaines OC UCLA MIA

227.Byron Young DT Alabama MIA
238. Cam Jones LB Indiana
More trade downs from profootball network simulator
Huge Value
Adding LaPorta,Whyle and Peoples and these 3 OL could make our Offense top 5. Like Tune better than Thompson, maybe White
Hellams, Heyward and Young add great D depth

90. Tyler Steen OT Alabama MIA
134.Andrew Vorhees OG USC MIA
156. Rashad Torrence II S Florida MIA
178. Josh Whyle TE Cincinnati
if satisfied with Smythe Saubert and Conner at TE and not after a top one in the draft, a lot of value in trade downs landing two top OL and a top RB and two potential TE diamonds later
74.Jaelyn Duncan OT Maryland MIA
84.Kendre Miller RB TCU MIA
108. Joe Tippmann OC Wisconsin MIA
143.Carrington Valentine CB Kentucky MIA
174.Dorian Williams LB Tulane MIA

207. Shaka Heyward LB Duke MIA
238.Jahleel Billingsley TE Texas
if, as recent team rumors discussing adding to D are true, a top player drops, taking a TE high is not a priority. Could definitely live with this. profootbalnetwork validates trade offers and player rankings so these are valid potential moves and none what we started with. A lot of teams with a lot of picks that may want to move up

Give away some picks next year and trade up for the best 2 OTs money can buy. Tuas health is the most important factor in this team in 2023. If the oline is not improved then we don't make the playoffs this year and we will have to rely on a backup qb meaning season is over.
