It's Saturday. Big game on TV tonight as the Dolphins prepare to whip Gruden's Raiders.
The Dolphins team will once again be a patchwork of substitutes playing hard to step up and make consistent and big plays. Carr is slated to started so the front four and others must pressure and pressure this guy to succeed. Defense will play a prominent role, again.
Receivers are not getting open and Tua is tentative with his decision making...hope he can adjust his game in the 2nd half.
Defense is not in sync....a few good plays but we need more. Coverage isn't terrible, Carr is timing his throws really well and his receivers are completing most of them.
Disappointed with Tua in this game so far---he is showing what appears to me to be a a lack of confidence in himself and his receivers.
To non Dolphins fans, the Dolphins look flat. They are energized IMO but motivation and confidence needs to improve in the second half.
Faster pace helped sync the offensive with short passes and a few quick bursts for yardage. Gaskin's catch and run lead to a much needed first touchdown. Game is tied at 13.
Defense needs to bear down and stop the Raiders to get field position.
Yep. Like I said.....its all about defense. Van Noy seems to have lost a step. Van Ginkle has been a terror. Someone is about to turn it over , I can feel it.
#24 Byron Jones--a gross disappointment. Not the CB hyped to be. He doesn't cover well. Not just this game...he doesn't tackle or cover like so many expected. No shut down corner.
Dolphins are in deep trouble. Fitzpatrick can move the team, but receivers must make crucial catches to pull out another score.
I had to painfully keep up with this game on ESPN watching a football graphic on the screen. After the Raiders last score their win probably was 99.9% according to the odds. What an amazing comeback.

All I know is if Fitz ends up with the Pats next season I'll be pissed.
