No big surprise here. He wasn't going to get any playing time going forward, so best to part company. In more important news, Zach Seiler signs extension through 2023. Good move. This kid has impressed me. Non-stop motor and makes plays.

After seeing what Ahmed could step up and do, yep, it's no surprise at all. Ahmed seems like a gem as a UDFA, good find for Miami picking him up off waivers.

As for Seiler, I just read an article that after signing his extension he's still going to live in his mobile home instead of running out and buying a house. He said he spends most of his time at the Dolphins facility anyway, even though he also owns a hunting outfitter business. An interesting note from the same article - He gives the credit to his success to the Miami coaches who he said taught him new techniques. Seems like a real humble guy with a complete team player attitude.
