Super Bowl (54) LIV

Tonight the 49ers play the Chiefs. It's been 50 years since the Chiefs were in the big game. While I don't have a "dog is this fight" I am rooting for the Chiefs. It comes down to one thing as far as I see it. If the 49ers offense can slow roll the game that keeps Mahomes off the field, the 49ers will win the game. If their slow roll fails to do that Mahomes has the fluidity to take over the game and dominate on offense. It's an interesting match-up and should be an exciting game. smiling smiley

I think it'll be the 49ers, as they are more of a well rounded team.

This is the first SB in recent memory where I don't particular like or dislike either team.

I asked my Patriots-fan friends who will they root for: the team who beat them during the regular season and who represents the AFC? Or the team being led by the QB who was originally drafted to take Tom Baby's place when he retires? Nobody could give a straight answer. "I don't know" "I'm only watching for my Super Bowl Squares score."

The Patriots should have done what Green Bay did.....Force Brady to retire or let him go like Farve/Rodgers.

They would be set for the future. And Miami would be worse off.grinning smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I'm rooting for the Chiefs since they have a 50 year SB drought. And last but not least because the Phins lost to the niners in Miami's last SB appearance.

I had no dog in the hunt until Treasure gave me one by reminding me how much he hates my resident state and San Francisco in particular. So despite where he says he has put his money I am rooting for the Niners. I hate doing this since I have been an AFL fan since 67 when Greise came here and remember his last word on that was "f*ck Purdue."

Would like to see KC win. Thinking SF has the edge with their D but so far KC appears to be doing the right thing on O calling some inside runs to counter SF's pair of DEs.

Congratulations to the Chiefs. It was an incredible performance. Andy Reid has an exceptional team with an exceptional QB. They will be contenders for several years. smileys with beer

Footnote: Unless my source is wrong,
Kaepernick was born in Milwaukee, not San Francisco like Treasure says.

He caaled SF, the city that "birthed" the kneeler.

He had a better Team. Franchise QBs are expensive. Build the trenches. Fitz can win. Jury still out on Rosen but he can be a whole lot better for sure , with an Oline, consistant coaching .

I'd Pray for a wet Firecracker if your referring to Tannehill. NFL comeback player of the year BLEW the F up in your face. drinking smiley

Hoe Fing stupid are you? Was Marino born in Miami or Pittsburg?

Who cares? KAPPERDICK is a product of San Francisco. The team that drafted him. Gave him life in the NFL. That city is EVERYTHING thats wrong with American values.

I cant even have a conversation with you without you making shit up. Not born in SF? Really? Geeeeez.....

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

We havent been in the second round of the playoffs with wet firecrackers for the last 35 years. The last time we were in the afc championship...a franshise qb was our qb...danny marino.

The proof is in the puddin.

No more piece of Sh!t qbs like tannehill please.

Tcpf .....that theory you have makes you look stupid tcpf. What more proof do you need. Lol

SamSam, he is of low intelligence.

His level of intelligence does not go beyond yes means okay and no means I don't agree.

He used the term that San Francisco was the place that "birthed" Kaepernick.

When I called him out on it, he backtracked and said that he was only referring to the first team THAT DRAFTED HIM.................SO ALL NFL PLAYERS ARE 'BIRTHED' BY THE FIRST TEAM THAT DRAFTS THEMconfused smileyconfused smileyconfused smiley??????????????????????????????

Oh IT JUST HIT ME!!!!! THAT MEANS THAT TANNEHILL WILL FOREVER, IN HIS MIND, BE CONNECTED WITH MIAMI!!!!

and that means that he can go home and make love to his Tannehill jersey.
