Gase article on NFL website

Man, so glad this guy isn't with the Phins organization anymore. The article was mainly about RBs for Chiefs and SF, both of whom shared some time with us. Williams said and Gase basically implicitly confirmed that Gase had told Williams he was a big part of the team's future plans...then Williams injured his shoulder...then Gase stopped taking Williams' calls and the relationship broke.

I don't think Williams being on or off our team makes much difference in whether we'd end up where we are (and, hopefully, are headed). But, that speaks volumes for why Gase seemed to manage to get much less out of the talent than he should have. What player would want to put everything on the line, knowing in the back of his head that if he gets injured while giving his all, Gase would disown him?

I feel like the team I watched in 2019 would run through a brick wall for Flores, a welcome & much-needed change.

Gase is an idiot. Similar issue with Parker and first thing he does in NY is throw their top 2 free agents under the bus. That guy has no credibility or brains. Peyton Manning has put a lot of money in that incompetent jerk's pockets.
