Sam, I think the problem is that he and his fellow dinosaurs on this board still do not have enough SENSE to realize just how critical the quarterback is to the post-Jim Brown era NFL football team. They are living in the 50s. That all changed with Joe Namath followed by Greise, et al.

I remember him talking fondly about trading into maybe round 3 or 4. I believe you and your lawyer are over exaggerating things a bit. Those talks about trading down were last year when we had a mid first round pick. Not this year when we are pretty much guaranteed to have a top 3 pick. It was also never mentioned to trade our first round pick for "later round" picks. Yes trade picks and stockpile but not a first for a bunch of 6th and 6th's.

Maybe you should take a hard look in the mirror before you assume certain things about people. Way to be a bigger man and bring race into this. I am sure, like me, Treasure does not give one lick what "color" our players are...Shoot the league is what...70% black players anyways...Your argument was not only stupid but made you look like more of an idiot that I believe you are. I joined this board 13 years ago and this board used to be an awesome place to visit, I don't frequent anymore for this reason. Gone are the days of the old dudes that added great emotion and insight to this board.

The board is now the SamSam and ChyrenB let's attack TCPF and anyone that disagrees board with some football in between.

I read and laugh but it has definitely impacted this board's attendance and followers.

I enjoy passing thru this board on days like today when I have some open time. The Sam, Chryen TCPF trio I have learned to live with. I actually like Sam. Chryen and TCPF are in the same boat as far as I am concerned. Chryen always looking for a stack of sh#* to stick his face in and TCPF's 'because I say so' attitude provides a life time of BS for Chryen. Ones Ying for ones Yang. No innocent victims between those two.
