I give him kudos for going for it. It was a win-win situation really...

They make the conversion and they pull out the win.

They miss the conversion and a majority of "fans" are happy, because of the draft position implications.

It was an odd playcall though. Makes you wonder.

This was a save face situation for our coaches. No matter what happened they could say we tried to win. If it worked they were being aggressive. If it didn’t they could still say we were being aggressive and was trying to win but it didn’t work.

I was at the stadium and the fan base had checked out completely prior to Rosen being benched. Ultra conservative play calls doomed us and the two point try was just a stupid play...we (the coaches) tried successfully to lose the game today.

Tua or Herbert had better be worth it...

I just got home from a two week trip from my home back in the islands, no Toilet Bowl on the TV here to watch on the west coast.

Being a Dolphins fan is easy for me this season because I don't expect any wins so there's no football stress for me this year.

I remember when we drafted 1st overall after going 1-15 we drafted Jake Long instead of Matt Ryan. Seems like this team never really valued a franchise QB after Dan left and that really befuddled me at the time and still does.

When the Skins spent the house & barn to move up and draft RG III 2nd overall they also drafted Kirk Cousins in the 4th round as a backup and he eventually ended up being their starter. Turned out to be a smart move on their part.

Love what Flores did by bringing in Fitz and love even more his announcement that he's going to continue starting Rosen, but bring in Fitz in relief as he deems necessary.
1. overall, it's more important to know what we've got in Rosen than to go with a veteran who has proven to be too streaky to be counted on for even the "short" long term.
2. puts healthy pressure on Rosen to perform..."we're not gonna just leave you in there to throw passes that average some 3 yards/attempt"
3. some other options, but got tired of typing :-)

If you don't have enough faith in your team that you would rather gamble winning or losing on a 1 out of 10 shot RATHER THAN SIMPLY KICKING AN EXTRA POINT and GIVING YOUR TEAM AN ENTIRE QUARTER TO SCORE FIRST AFTER POSSIBLY STOPPING THE OPPOSING TEAM FROM SCORING FIRST. (Hopefully, I'm not mixing up pro versus college overtime rules).......
