Hey treasure coast phin fan......seen how well the phins are playing you should be happy spending this kind of money on a game.

Thats your kind of game bro.

You like spending 500 dollars on tickets for the losing phins?

Might as well spend a lot on food too.

One fan had a particularly bad time. Per the Miami Herald, this person bought two beers and was charged $724 by the beer vendor. The paper explains the scam:

He grabbed the fan’s card and swiped it using a personal card reader, not the device the stadium provides to vendors, according to the police report. Shortly after the transaction was processed, the fan received an alert from his bank notifying him of the steep charge to his card. It also displayed the vendor’s name.

Here’s guessing the $724 the vendor charged was in honor of the number of points the Dolphins are going to give up this season. Chin up, Miami!

Chin up TCPF.

We are all going through it.

Vendor got charged with grand theft and is being held on $10,000 bond. Fan got a full refund so ended up getting the beer for free. Justice served!

Just a thought....Love beer but wouldn't want to go through that just to get free beer.

But yes...JUSTICE WAS SERVED.

His whole life is ruined over this stupid BS. From here on out, he will have to register as a felon.

He'll never get a good job again. He'll be lucky to even get a janitorial gig.

This younger generation only thinks about whether they'll get away with something instead of thinking of the enormous consequences of NOT getting away with it.

A few years from now, he would not be willing to take TEN TIMES $724 FOR GOING THROUGH WHAT HE WILL NOW HAVE TO GO THROUGH.

Younger folks don't realize that the concept of deterrence is not making you pay "even Steven" for what you steal but to pay so much disproportionately more that it will discourage others from doing the same crime.

I read he was 33. That is that young. He just thought he was smarter than people who look for these scams 24/7 and found out he wasn't.

As is true of all criminals regardless of age. They think they are smarter than the people whose job it is to detect the crime.

The only difference is that the older criminals ask themselves "is it worth it?" assuming they WILL get caught.

The younger criminals do not even factor getting caught into their equation.
