Jeffery Simmons could be on Miami's radar..........
Date: April 23, 2019 08:54PM

Controversial player I know.He has a recent knee injury and there is a video of him punching out a female.

Bad I know.

But despite that Miami has had him in and have had extensive conversations about drafting him. If not injured and no video.....hes a Top 3 pick easily.

But Miami has had doctors check him out and hes expected to make a full recovery. The video in question was from 4 yrs ago while in high school.

No issues in college whatsoever.

Heres where it gets interesting.......No one will take him until the late 1st round....probably second round.

If Miami drafts back.....hes the perfect kind of player to add huge value with a free pick in the second or 3rd round.

Miami seemed to spend alot of time with him. Definite possibility. thumbs up

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I like Simmons. Incident occurred when he was a high school senior. Woman made an offensive remark regarding a deceased member of his family triggering a fight with his sister, he was pi**ed too and landed some punches. He was wrong he admitted it and has walked the line his 4 years at MS ST to my knowledge.

I would grab him in the second rnd.

Oh yeah he had a knee injury and punched a girlfriend.

And now you want us to draft him.

I knew it..... you just want bad thing s for this team.

TCPF I knew you were a jet fan all along.

Sam it was not a girlfriend and he was 18/19 years old. Some guys make mistakes as teenagers. Guy has had a clean record since. Bulldog coaches have said that he has been solid there.

Docs say knee injury should heal 100%. Yeah we would be rolling the dice on the injury but getting a top 10 talent in the 2nd round. We aren't going anywhere in 2019 so let the guy heal and be ready to go in 2020. Cowboys did it w/ Jaylon Smith and it worked. Smith's injuries were more severe than Simmons.

Sam I know you and Mr. Draft by odds want to criticize everything.....but you need to read first. No girlfriend. Not condoning hitting a woman ever but it was a pretty emotional time for him and he appears to have learned from it. Coaches in college say hes a great lockeroom presence and works hard.

Look at the value we got out of A TUNSIL. This could be better and with a free pick after drafting back our defenses way improved. ....makes it a no brainer.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

RESPONSE: Fighting a girl who fought either his sister or a friend of his sister. A difference but not a big one. Still guy on girl.

and he was 18/19 years
> old. Some guys make mistakes as teenagers.

RESPONSE: Ahhh...that's Freshman in College, not High School. Kinda of a difference. You can argue not much difference but I disagree. You're still at home in high school but you're usually not in college.

RESPONSE: Good.

RESPONSE: Still no way I'm passing on the first QB in the FIRST ROUND AT 13 if Miami is drafting at 13 and no QB has been picked especially just on the ASSUMPTION that we are going to get another specific named player in the next year's draft.

We
> aren't going anywhere in 2019 so let the guy heal

RESPONSE: And what if someone snatches him first in 2020.
?

You know you can't say that like we'll be entitled to draft him in 2020. So then if there is no other QB worth it in 2020? And we passed on the best ones at 13 in 2019?

Keep that in mind. Treasure will try to twist it but what I'm saying is if Haskins, etc. falls to us at 13, we grab him!

It's so good when I've been away from the board several hours and I come back and read your posts.

I chuckle SO MUCH.

I was responding TO ONE OF MIZZOU'S POSTS.

Go back and read it so that you will be able to make an intelligent comment.

And if you STILL don't understand, Mizzou and I were bandying over whether to draft a particular QB. Mizzou said that he had heard that this QB might not even come out until 2020. He said "We
aren't going anywhere in 2019 so let the guy heal and be ready to go in 2020."

And I responded, "But what if some other team snatches him in 2020?"

Stop pretending you are sitting back and laughing. You made a dumb remark , feel stupid and are now pretending to lauh it off in hopes of covering up your stupidity. When I say that .....I dont mean in general. Your obviously a bright person. But you dont know shit about these draft picks. Just admit it. Stop LOLing .

If Haskins is picked at 13 tomorrow GREAT. OUR LADS was right. Good job CHYRENE. You read an article and agreed. You actually didnt know what to do. You panicked for a few days and then settles on the ODDS. Becuase being RIGHT is more important to you then anything else. Then the DOLPHINS. Thats LOL. Actually its not. Its Fing Sad. drinking smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Of course you PM each other. It's quite obvious your not posting honest well thought out opinions on the Miami Dolphins. Idiots.

Chyrene there was a 2-3 day span I couldn't get you name 1 player to draft. Not until you read Our Lads and a few others a developed a winning prospect based not what's good for Miami.....but who might actually be drafted. THE ODDS as you put it.

Everyone sees it. Your hatred of Tannehill was all about me. You two conspire like the cable news.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

You are kind of pananoid tcpf. We pmed each other because we talking about politics which we dont want to post on the board. LOL.

Btw its ok to disagree on a subject. You dont have to call people idiots over and over if they disagree with you. Makes you look bad.

Everyone has their own opinions. It would be boring if we all agreed on everything.

Oh yeah we just hate cops....Thats it. LOL...

Not about you at all....It was all about tannehill.

Our hatred for tannehill was because tannehill stunk over and over and we couldnt make playoffs with him.

He struggled to much when it mattered. 4th quarters gone to waste many times.

Thats the reason tannehill is not here anymore.

He will be holding a clipboard for the rest of his career.

GOOD FOR HIM.

Hold a clipboard and get paid for it.

Get paid for doing nothing.

Went #19 overall. Better then expected for a player sitting out 2019.
