And you sound like a cop who has pulled someone over for speeding in a area that has a speed trap indicator (in Pasadena it snaps a picture of the offending driver) which is later shown to HAVE NOT GONE OFF....meaning that you were just flat wrong when you thought the guy was speeding.

NO, YOU'RE THE ONE EMBARRASSING YOURself. I pointed out that Haskins was the QB that THE MIAMI DOLPHINS, we, were projected as taking.............................not TUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Tuaaaaaaaaa appears NOWHERE IN MY POST ABOVE.
PLEASE READERS, instead of relying on Treasure, just look at the first page of this thread, first post.
On most draft articles, they are linking him to the Patriots.
If he's gonna be the next Brady, I'd take him for that alone even if ON OUR TEAM HE ENDS UP BEING NO BETTER THAN A WOODLEY. Just to keep him away from the Patsies.

Who doesn't know that when they are crying about getting a QB for a decade? It proves you dont know the facts about anything until you regurgitate it from Ourlads.
Dude just stop it. STOP IT. Your not fooling a soul here. And again....I dont know everything about everything either. BUT if I'm going to flame someone daily on a subject then yes I'll make sure I at least know what QB's are actually in the draft. Just Stop it.
Evidence is in. The Jury has seen it. The only fact you have is YOU WANT A QB in the first round. You said Haskins.
Now if Haskins falls for whatever reason to the 2nd or 3rd (Not going to happen just stick with me here)YOU WOULDNT WANT HIM.
Thats the sick part. It has to be a 1st rounder becuase......1st round picks mean instant success.
AND you didnt even know the QB our team really wants is not even in this years draft.
STOP IT.just stop it bro. Its not even fun anymore.

I wouldnt be bummed if we pulled the trigger on Haskins. NOT lock. But the smart move is a trade down if a trade is available.
You put the NOT in that sentence in all caps like that was a suggestion being pushed on this board.
You treat any mere mention of a quarterback in the draft just like a suggestion that some other man take your girlfriend out to dinner. You freak out!
There was talk in draft circles about how Tua was so small in stature that he couldn't succeed in the NFL and I said that..... "people that have been told no all their lives have a funny way of forcing yes down the world's throat."
From that point on, Treasure stupidly translated that into meaning that I was advocating picking Tua, even over Haskins, with our number 13 pick.
All I ever said was you advocated whatever OUR Lads said. I'm pretty sure if they advocated bringing zpAT White back from the Canadian league you would be down.
But let me make it simple for you becuase your in word twisting mode.
EVERYONE HERE KNOWS : The top 3 QBs in the draft are Haskins , Murry , and Lock. Jones is a dark horse.
At 13 anyone besides Murry and Haskins is a reach. SO I SAID NOT LOCK. Because I think hes a bust. Not worthy of any pick.
Now I believe Jackson could be had in the 3rd round. I'd like to see Miami trade back and grab defense. This drafts strong suit. (And I didnt have to read that in Out Lads)
Could I be wrong? Absolutely. But at least I made my assessment on my own......
I happened to be out eating with my son and they had Lock's pro day on. His facial expressions, body language and don't give a shit attitude reminded me of Jay Cutler.
I wouldn't touch lock or jones in the first.
If haskins and Ed Oliver are gone by 13 I'd try to trade back too.

Oliver would be a heck of a pick. But he had a recent knee injury that started that whole jacketgate thing with his coach. I think there is a solid chance that Haskins drops to us. If other teams flood us with trade options its going to be interesting which way this new admin. picks.
Lock is a bust . But some desperate team will grab him in the later first rounds. Jones had a broken collarbone and has so many questions. We take him later if we are desperate. Its just not a great QB class period and thats what makes Haskins float to the top.
So many great defense prospects. Coach Flores can put together a heck of a defense while we patiently wait until next year. Grab Tyree Jackson for insurance.

Tell us why you think differently.or is it just any QB in the first round? Surely you cant be saying just because hes taken in the first round hes a franchise player? Share with us some of your knowledge Sam.

RESPONSE: We have been saying any QB that is still there at number 13.
Surely you cant be

RESPONSE: Don't ever go to Vegas or to the Race Track, Treasure.
You don't seem to realize that if a bet pays 2 to 1 and another bet pays 100 to 1, the 2 to 1 bet (or horse) is more likely to come about.
The higher the QB goes, the more likely he is to be better.
Now, Tom Bradys may come along once in every blue moon but the Grieses and the Spurriers, the Marinos and the Elways are more likely to happen.
Giving up on Spurrier to hope to snatch a Tom Brady...particularly when we are talking about the QB position, the engine of the automobile...just doesn't make sense.
Any quarterback and the higher the pick the more likely he is to succeed.
There have been linemen busts too.
Whether because of bullygate or not.
There have been linebacker busts.
In other words, life is life and sh*t happens.
But that doesn't mean that you don't live.
And living means that if you are drafting at 11, like last year, or 13, like this year, you grab the best player available AT THE POSITION OF THE MOST CRITICAL NEED.
DRAFT DOWN. Collect more picks. The more picks you have the more chances you have to find starters at alot more positions? . In the words of the immortal Fred Sanford.....Dummy!!

Becuase most people need Good affordable reliable Transportation. Not a vehicle they cant depend on, is too expensive, and breaks down.
FORDS and CHEVYS built America. Nothing fancy....but strong and dependable.
You can have your Ferrari......I'll take a stable of Corvettes, Camaros and F150s.....
Yes, in other words, the reason that the top players go in the first round is that they are expected to be the best...the Mercedes and the Cadillacs.
Now, even those can be lemons but like everything in life, the more you pay generally the more valuable the product.
There was a thread in which I reviewed the subsequent history of the QBs in the SuperBowl.
Of course, Tom Brady is the big exception but mainly, the SuperBowl QBs come from the first round.
That's the point because you want us TO GIVE UP OUR FIRST PICK AT 13 and get more 2nd and 3rd round picks.
Like I said, I'll bet you that at least ONE QB is selected from 1 to 13.
I know we have the 13 pick but it's my way of saying either we pick him or if we trade down, the team that we trade that pick away with will pick a QB at 13.
