Durval Q. Neto from Brazil. Hes joining the Dolphins as an allocated player from the NFL’s International Player Pathway program.......WTF? Never heard of it.But this guy is supposedly a 325 ps bulldozer. Didnt cost us anything so if it's free it's for me at this point........
The guy was a Judo champion. So I am great with him, I am sure he will know how to use leverage and the other players momentum against them. I have never heard of him either, but he at least sounds like an interesting prospect.

Yeah.....I just never heard of the International pathway program. Or why we the team selected to get him. But again if its free its for me. Alot more to being a Lineman then Judo and balance. But you are right it certainly doesn't hurt!! And again the price was right!!
I love the price for this kid. Balance is perhaps the biggest attribute that a lineman can have. I know there is more to it but it is a huge positive for me.

I agree. Lineman also have to be disciplined. HUGE mental game . Cant twitch but still try to get a jump on the play. Physicality is a big part of it......but mental toughness , play after play is HUGE.
I agree with the disciplined part of that as well. I also maintain that foreign born players in sports are more mentally disciplined.
I know we could play the example game forever, but my examples are Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginóbili (the core of why San Antonio was great for many years) all are foreign born players. Jay Ajayi was born in Nigerian.

Yeah I read that they're an extra body on the practice squad for a season but you can correct me if I'm wrong. Sorry I can't post the story link but I'm sure you can google this dude.
Either way, if he can't play till 2020 he'll be all the more hungry to be a starter on the 53. I hope I'm wrong & that he can play right away though. The dude looks like he can bench press the @ss end of my truck.
Each of the four AFC East clubs will carry an additional international player on their practice squads in 2019 as part of an expansion of the International Player Pathway program. After training camp, the players are eligible for an international player practice squad exemption, granting them an 11th practice squad member that is ineligible to be activated during the 2019 season.
He is freaking massive! And being a Judo Champion brings discipline and understanding of angles . He will be fun to watch next season.
