This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
You miss the point. David Woodley had a great defense and no offense. With Marino it was a great passing game and no defense.....yeah even though it was the next year. My ex who was a Colts fan used to say that for all how great Marino was, other teams would just outscore us. Nobody on this board has said...well..we don't have this or we don't have that... but you. Sure we could use help. Show me a team that doesn't but what you are saying is that tou can't blame Tanny unless you surround him with probowlers at every other position.
Yes chren......tcpf wanted to surround the wet firecracker with pro bowlers because he knows deep down inside the wet firecracker is a talentless bum. And cant make nothing happen.
Political commentary really doesn't have a place on a Miami Dolphins board. I have my opinions about the current state of the government and if I want to share them with others, there are boards for that sort of thing. Even if my opinions differ completely with some people on this board, we should be able to come here to talk about something that's not divisive (particularly now that Tannehill is a Titan) and have enjoyable exchanges about the team we love. I hope that this sort of thing doesn't become too pervasive because it's the sort of thing that might force me to leave.
You may be a shitty Dolphins fan Sam......but you are a good American! And guess what's more important!? I'd have a beer and a cigar with you anytime .
After you two finish blowing each other let's discuss a report that Armando put out there that last year Gase was trying to trade for Mathew Stafford of the lions. Says a lot about the diminishing confidence in Tannehill's ability to get the job done. It may have been due to the injury but, it's interesting to note that Philbin, who originally drafted Tannehill had seen enough after 2 years and Gase was also looking to go in a different direction.
Either way, I'm glad he's gone. He was never first round material.

Thank you for what you do every day to protect us. We truly appresiate it.

ChyrenB, this kind of garbage doesn't belong on this site. I have
reported it to the moderators. Just wanted to let you know.
Disgusting.

So it's disgusting to defend John Candy, Rick?
Let's admit it. But I never knew your ill feelings for me would lead you to attack me for defending the late John Candy.
The late John Candy is not a political issue. It's a question of Comedy and timing. That's what's happen to this country in the last few years. Comedy and timing has been put aside and every one is only interested in not having the 5 year old mentality CEO say "THOSE AREN'T PILLOWS!!!"
I suppose you would like to attack the late Actor John Candy as well. I was referring to Treasure's soldier-ish following of the deceased fellow in the SCTV Comedy Troupe, and I ain't talking about Harold Ramis.
And if this post is taken down, then it is only fair to take down your post as well.
***Nah, I didn't take the post(s) down. I got sick of doing that But I made some edits. Check 'em out, and you get extra points if you get all the references without Googling.

The John Candy thing wasn't funny, Treasure. But John Candy was! It wasn't funny by you and it wasn't funny by Joe Flaherty. If you are just saying that perhaps your attempt at humor was in bad taste. I'll accept it and leave it at that.
But just like I attacked for Andrea Martin not respecting animal prints, I attacked Bob McKenzie for attacking Doug McKenzie after they ran out of beer.
But Rick Moranis doesn't have a clue.

Hey, I always liked SCTV's Johnny Fontaine. Harold Ramis, too.
However, don't flatter yourself. I have no interest in you, just disdain for most of your posts.
I think Tannehill will do great, until its time to make quick decisions in awkward moments. Or a third-and-long situation with the game on the line. Then his true shortcomings will again be revealed.
Whatever he is, he certainly isn't this. And what he is -is one of the 64 most talented quarterbacks in the world. One of the smallest sample size groups on the planet.
Whoa, ChyrenB, tone it down a bit. Unless everybody on this site was around to watch an old Chicago television show, they probably have no idea what you are talking about. Except maybe for Eugene Levy. This stuff doesn't have anything to do with football anyway.
*editors note. you are likely referring to my edits, making the SCTV references. I did all that. It was a just a joke-y way to remove political content and insert nonsense. Sorry for the confusion. - JC *
