Not sure why that makes sense. If they are looking to the 2020 draft to get their franchise QB, why would you want to sign a guy at QB who could win you a few games and cost you a top pick? It's not like Bridgewater is going to get us to the playoffs or be the long-term solution at QB. Plus with the offensive line we're going to field, I'd hate to see his knee take that kind of battering. His injury was horrific and I have to believe that re-injuring it is a concern.

Totally agree. Hell, I'd go with the winner of Falk, Ruddock, and some rookie they draft in the latter rounds of this year's draft. The number one overall pick is better than going 6-10 and losing out on the top QB prospect.
otoh, the jest are the new dolphins- They are signing all these flashy names that will sink their franchise for years to come...guess schadenfreude is a thing we can enjoy in regards to the gangrene.

We will pick up a veteran eventually and I'm pretty certain we draft a guy this year. We will be OK short term...and if anyone suggests or we make an offer to Kaepernick I for one will puke.

Well Ken, get a barf bag ready. Kaepernick is reportedly interested in Miami's QB opening.
If this organization picks him up, I'll boycott every Dolphins game until he's gone. I'm sorry, but I cannot support this team if he's here, that's where I have to draw my line.
That would be friggin INSANE. If you didn't play Tannehill in a read option scheme, why in the hell would you ruin his career with his natural talent for years, get rid of him and THEN go out and get another read option QB??????????????????
You gonna play Kaepernick in a pocket scheme too?????????????
Oh, and BTW, I hate Kaepernick too BUT NOT BECAUSE HE PROTESTED COPS SHOOTING Blacks but because he did it by disrespecting THE FLAG, which before the Guy who names rhymes with another word for ass came to power, represented the federal government, the only thing that Blacks could count on to protect them for decades.
Gently steering this thread away from partisan politics, but still on a local to Miami quasi-political note:
I'd almost forgotten that CK wore a t-shirt with Fidel Castro's picture on it WHILE IN MIAMI a couple years ago. This is what moving away from the Miami area did to me, I'd almost forgotten about it.
Does anyone think he may have failed to win over a few fans of Cuban extraction with that move?
Saving The Cap space is everything ..........the extra picks are just the cherry on the Sundae. This is going to be a rough season. Be prepared and buckle up.
