I'd like to ask that any seriously-considered solution options for the disappearing messages include a feature to automatically blank out any of my stupid comments :-)

Who knows, maybe that's what actually happened :-)

If "stupid" comments automatically disappeared then the whole site would likely just go blank.;-)

And it did go blank for a couple of weeks.

LOL, JC. As the Mod, you should be afraid to make a reference because remember that episode where the writer could bring characters to life by dictating into a recorder and his wife found out that he had been creating a girlfriend and the wife did not believe him and threw the tape of herself in the fireplace after he told the wife that he had created her too?? LOL and she disappeared??

And as a comment after the show Rid Serling says, "Of course we all know that such ridiculous nonsense could not be true." Whereupon the author reappears and says, "Rod, tsk, tsk. Such language" and produces an envelope labelled Rod Serling and throws it in the fireplace whereupon Serling disappeared.

I *vaguely* remember that. That show was WAY ahead of its time and featured appearances by some great actors, some of whom were not yet famous and whose careers took off after their appearances on The Zone.

The most memorable episodes to me where the one where the guy could freeze time (and go rob a bank and such while everyone else in the world was 'frozen' ) and also the one where the guy set himself up in his bomb shelter with food and supplies and all sorts of books to read, then promptly dropped and broke his glasses. Whoops.

As I recall, it ran sporadically in re-runs when I was a kid. I'm too young...(believe it or not), to have watched that show during its original run

LOL think of the genius that could twirk those two personalities so different yet at the same time so similar.

Burgess Meredith the bookreader really hated humanity and got what he deserved when at first he regretted the destruction of the world by the bomb but later felt he was okay when he found himself at the library. In 50's and 60's morality, his glasses were broken as punishment for him NOT caring about humanity when he came upon the library.

The stopwatch guy was much more sympathetic because he cared more about humanity than money and begged to be able to start the world again and begged God to take back the money but only bring back the people.

I saw some of The Twilight Zone, but The Outer Limits was also good. The one that got me was those spiders with human faces. Brr...

THAT was Burgess Meredith? THe Penguin? Rocky Balboa's trainer?
cool.

See what I mean about actors having bit parts on that show going on to greater things?

Back to the topic.

Personally, I believe the Dolphins should stay away from coaches associated with the Cowboys and the Patriots. Connections to these franchises for the Dolphins aren't sound. The best association, thus far, has been Amendola. Coaches associated with Belichick haven't faired all that well. Being under Belichick for a period of time hasn't translated into brilliance as a HC. Why should we think that Flores will be different.

I'm skeptical too Colonel.

I'm hoping for the best but I don't expect any miracles to happen, & our record speaks for itself about promoted assistants and coordinators from other teams. It's a hit or miss with 1st time HC's but for this team every one has been a miss so far.

And you're right about Belichik's underlings. I haven't seen any of them turn into geniuses on their own as HC's. Even he himself as a first time HC had a shaky start & was fired as the Browns HC after his last season of going 5-11 and spending 4 years with them.

Yes sir, it'll be a hit or miss with Flores too.
