Not only him but the entire Dolphin organization is being schooled about Tannehill and will sorely regret being beaten out of Josh Rosen.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You said Josh Rosen!!!!!!

I agree Tanne is far from great but Josh Rosen is a joke!!!

Only QB that will amount to anything from last years draft is Mayfield. Darnold and Allen will continue to show flashes but will not be great or even better than Tanne.

Lamar is just another running QB that has an amazing defense on the other side. Stop him from running and he can't make the throws. Look at the Charger game. They played prevent from the middle of the 3rd quarter on. What did he have 2 yards before they went to prevent.

As the Chef says, "Give it time."

After one rookie season, you are willing to make a judgement?

Hey, I've got a great idea. Why not apply that to Tannehill.

He came out in 2011 and as of 2018 many were writing him off as a loss, yet I'll bet you are firmly behind him.

And BTW, I am out here in L.A. and watched him play at UCLA.

There are more QB's that are amazing in college and don't amount to jack squat in the pros.

As long as Tannehill is on the dolphins as the starter I am behind him. I have already said we should draft someone to replace him if we are in a good position and don't have to give up a lot.

Everyone knows you are from L.A and that you were raised in Oklahoma and went to the same college as Griese and you know lyrics to songs Chyren. Just because you watched him play at UCLA does not automatically make him better than Tanne.

Let's give Rosen the benefit that his team was garbage. Remember Tanne had an amazing team behind him. Every loss was on him....winking smiley

I seem to remember that he was in contention for the Heisman in 2017 also. That provides a tiny bit more basis for me to have wanted for us to draft him than me just being from LA. If you don't agree why not just say so or challenge his stats?

I do not care one bit about his stats in college and the fact that he was in contention for the Heisman means absolutely nothing. Heisman equates to nothing in the Pros.

Rosen is no upgrade over Tannehill. My only issue with your post is that you chose Rosen. I understand because of where he was drafted but he would not have been any kind of an upgrade. Not now or not in the future.

Tannehill was pure dog dung the entire season. Had a few flashes in the pan. I would have been okay with you saying any of the other rookies this year. My beef was you picked Rosen. Maybe cause we could have moved a little to get him but why? Shoot I would have been okay if you said Jackson.

Tanne and Rosen ranked 32nd and 33rd in QBR this year and both had the 31st and 32nd worst O-Lines.

Tanne played in 3 less games then Rosen and here are the season stats:

QB Games Cmp% Yards Y\A TD INT
Tanne 11 64.2 1979 7.2 17 9
Rosen 14 55.2 2278 5.8 11 14

So how would he have helped this team?

lol...Looks like being a Heisman winning QB is more of a curse than an asset in the NFL.

RESPONSE: That's true but it is so true it's a TRUISM like. saying that "water is wet," Of course most of the hundreds of QBS that are in college don't make it in the pros. The same is true for tackles and linebacker.

> As long as Tannehill is on the dolphins as the

RESPONSE: Why? Is that a loyalty thing? Don't duck this question but by your logic, you then would not replace a QB who took you to the SuperBowl the next year with a rookie, right??? That means you would NOT have benched David Woodley for Dan Marino (And I don't remember Tanny taking us to the SuperBowl.)

I have already said we
> should draft someone to replace him if we are in a

RESPONSE: To get in the best position a team has to have the worst record but I do concede that following that logic will get us there. The QB is to the team what the ENGINE is to a car.

RESPONSE: That's true but it applies to everyone who has watched anything in the past and the problem with the logic is that it ALSO does not prove that I am wrong.

RESPONSE: Ho,ho,my friend. Tanne did not arrive just two years ago. He has been here since April of 2011. It is NOW January of 2019

If the Miami Dolphins dont get the Oline healthy for 16 games it doesnt matter who they get for QB.

The Jets joke of a QB last year....the rookie INT machine......will be trouble now.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

True, true, I'm not saying QB is the ONLY problem with this team, and, in fact, I said he wouldn't even be A problem if they move him out of the pocket.

But as well as O line, we need MORE pass rushers as well. See how the Patsies ran it up on the Chargers today when THEY thought they could simply play coverage on Brady.

RESPONSE: It is loyalty to the Phins. When Brock was the starter I was loyal to him. I do not make the decision on who plays. I may not like the decisions the staff makes but I am loyal.

RESPONSE: Yes I understand Tanne was not a rookie this year like Rosen. It seems to me though when Tanne has a competent team around him he thrives. But everything has to be in place for that to happen. He cannot make it happen himself hence the reason I think the Rosen comparison makes no sense. Rosen will be just like Tanne if not worse. He will not make any team better himself ever.

We need stud LB's above all else. I am so tired of having weak LB's...

Im a defensive minded fan. I LOVE GREAT DEFENSE. We need coaching to help these guys react better to new NFL rules and avoid costly pena lties. These new defensive rules favor offensive players and Gase completely ignored that side of the ball. He was stuck in hus offensive playbook , being the OC, not the head coach.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
