Drake even offered game tickets. That's pretty generous, all kidding aside about how the stadium appears to have...lots of empty seats on gameday.
I'd give him the ball, and ask to take a picture with him and take him up on the offer for game tickets. Maybe he'd give more than one game's worth, seeing as demand ain't so high for them.
Re: Dolphins fan holding Drakes Miracle in Miami ball for ransom.....
All factless rumor spreading (aka internet news). The fan can ask for what he wants its his property (USA remember). Its between him/them and Drake why is this guy sticking his nose in it and spreading this s***
Re: Dolphins fan holding Drakes Miracle in Miami ball for ransom.....
My best piece of dolphins memorabilia is a Christmas card from the 1972 Dolphins. Has team photo and everything. Have never been able to get it signed though
Re: Dolphins fan holding Drakes Miracle in Miami ball for ransom.....
I wish I had it...I would absolutely trade it back to Drake. For a game worn and autographed Drake jersey, an autographed Gore Jersey, a coupon from the team giving me all of the free food and any drinks I want at the stadium for two, forever. My current season tickets free forever. And a meet and greet with Don Shula, Bob Greise and Dan Marino with pictures and autographs at the Stadium for me and my son.
None of this would cost Drake anything...
Re: Dolphins fan holding Drakes Miracle in Miami ball for ransom.....
The fan is the one holding the bag. He paid 500.00 for a football with no documentation or signature to prove what it was, just his word. The Pawn Stars wouldn't pay him, neither should Drake.

Re: Dolphins fan holding Drakes Miracle in Miami ball for ransom.....
I have a Dolphins helmet signed by Dan Marino back in 99 at a trade show in NJ. A Zack Thomas signed helmet I got about 2 yrs ago when he did a promo thing at the stadium to try and sell seats. My two fave Dolphins.
But my favorite piece of Memorabilia is my pair of actual Dolphins seats from the original Joe Robbie Stadium. Before Ross turned the seats from orange to Aqua. They gave them away to season ticket holders. IWasnt but my buddy was. He didnt want tbem. At the time. When he saw how cool they were and actually usuable he regreted letting me have them.
I think any Pats fan would give the ball back because I went to Boston last summer and I saw what a crazy sports town it was. To call those fans loyal is like saying a Cat 5 hurricane is just a storm. They live it, breathe it. The Celtics, the Sox, the Pats. If a Pats player said, sorry i lost my head , can I get my ball back, it would arrive faster then a pizza from Dominoes.

Man you are obtuse.
Obviously.....I meant If the SCENERIO was the same. If it was a Pars miricle and say Gronk through the ball.Any PATS fan would bring it back for a beer.
Our Fans suck as evidenced by Sam sam and others who have zero team spirit.

So you are saying that you yourself who is always bragging about being a Super Dolphin fan and a collector of souvenirs would actually have kept that ball which was a memorial to your team's worst defeat (from an odds standpoint) in history and in fact the most miraculous defeat any team has ever suffered???????
Well, if that's the case, maybe we are confronted with a stronger word to describe you.
Re: Dolphins fan holding Drakes Miracle in Miami ball for ransom.....
Maybe you should stop reading into things, stop assuming things, Try just actually reading a post and answering it wi th hout any bias or agenda.
I never bragged about being a super fan. I mearly support my team .PERIOD.
You said just two weeks i was stupid for even suggesting we had a chance to make the playoffs and we should lose the remaining games for better draft picks.
That doesnt make me a super fan.It makes you a super BAD one.

No, I posted a poll asking the readers did they THINK we had a chance to make the playoffs or whether realistically, we should start thinking about the draft.

No, it just makes you an intellectually innocent one.

Re: Not really, for two we usually spend less than $80.00 at the stadium each game. My two season tickets were about $1200.00 for the season so thats...like $1840.00 for the entire season. Drake could get the team to spring for that I'm sure. The jerseys wouldn't cost a dime and a good PR stunt for the meet and greet would be free too.
I get your statement was tongue in cheek...but money wise very reasonable...for a piece of priceless Phins history.
But, regardless of getting all of that, I'd settle for just the jerseys and the meet and greet if pressed.
