Yeah, I took liberty with the subject title. The Texans are all full of fight and we'll have to play the "rope a dope" and get real lucky to win this one. As far as I can tell we are battered, bruised and without a good HC who can do little but hide his eyes under his cap. The Dolphins are showing up for another Nationally televised game and my fingers are crossed that the team does enough not to be embarrassed by the Texans.
Our O-line is going to have a major challenge confronting them. Trying to stop the defense from penetrating is job #1. Giving Oswelier time to see the field and throw has to happen for the team to stay in the game. Our defense seems confused and one can only hope that the confusion on coverage that was rampant last Sunday has been straightened out.
Terrible officiating. Bad calls, even though we benefitted. It is still wrong. Officials need to regroup and start looking at what's going on--not assuming one way or the other.
We are not playing too bad on offense so far, just gotta clean things up a bit and not make mistakes (Brock forcing the ball and staring down receivers). Defense has real work to do.
At least we are in the game...second half will be another story.
Officiating continues to be stellar...right guys. Ha! What a joke. Is this an all rookie officiating team?
We're still in the game at half time. What happens next is anyone's guess.
Devante Parker suited up and playing. How about that. A few catches under his belt too. I wonder when he'll leave the game because of some minor bump. Yeah, he's not high on my list of players!
He NEEDS (Parker) to step it up in the second half. We gotta get it together and make some plays on both sides of the ball. Houston is pinning back thier ears on Osweiller...gotta adjust and limit that.
I stated in the original post on this thread: "Our defense seems confused and one can only hope that the confusion on coverage that was rampant last Sunday has been straightened out. "
Well, it's still a mess.
Parker has had a good game. Hats off to him...for a change. Maybe I've been wrong about him.
