I hear that, today, Parker is inactive AGAIN. The team seems to think that a larger receiver is a necessity to properly round out our receiver corps, but our big receiver has only played in TWO games this year, so he can't be effecting our receiving in any positive way. There were rumors circulating lately that he's on the trading block, though Gase denies it. I'm hearing we would take a third for him, though we don't want to trade him(?). If we can get a third for him, I think its time he went to a new situation. A third is much better than what many of us think he's worth. Besides, I'm also hearing that other, more dependable big receivers might be available for us if its felt that we really need one.
When I think of Devante Parker I can visualize a player covered in little bandaids from head to toe. Comical perhaps, but his injuries continue to plague him. As a result he has little value to the team. Many fans think he's a bust. I'm one of them. If we can trade him for something of value, that would be better than keeping him as dead weight on the roster. IMO his time as a NFL player is coming to a end.
Somehow I think Parker has been faking his injuries as to not play for pinhead #2. His value will shoot down as a result, but I don't blame him. He'll probably flourish at his next destination. He's got the physical talent to be somebody.

If this were a winning organization I bet he'd have fewer injuries. I'm with you on that toko.
Get your popcorn ready for when he leaves - I'm sure he'll be talking a lot of smack and how he's so happy to be gone. His agent sure has a lot to say and his client isn't even gone yet.
You know what will be interesting... With Wilson and Stills out, if Parker is inactive on Thursday. What would be even more interesting is if they bring up one of the receivers on the practice squad and have that player be active.
Meanwhile, Raiders get a 1st for Amari Cooper-who I think is not as good as Parker (from a non-stat point of view) Let's aim higher. 3rd rounders rarely turn into anything special.

With Grier making the picks, neither do 1st rounders.
