He cant answer them, he doesnt want to see anyones point, instead of replacing one person we must replace the other 50. I really hope i can eat crow and say i was wrong, but the past decade is a damn good indicator i wont be.
All i hear about is tranny threw for 4k yrds and did all this remarkable shit over 6 yrs. hmmmmmmmm one winning season hot damn, pay him another 25mil. we havent sniffed the second round of playoffs since what like forever. I dont hate any player, i hate that this team and its owner is the laughing stock of the NFL. I have been watching this team for over 40yrs and I think i can say we suck. stupid records and what you did 5 yrs ago means crap to me. I dont understand why that is so hard to understand and why its so hard to admit this team needs an overhaul in ownership and front office and coaches. follow the yellow brick road lmao

TCPF Which part of (((((((TANNEHILL IS COMING OFF AN INJURY))))))

DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

You keep saying the Oline needs to be upgraded.....

But the weakest position on this team wasnt addressed in the draft. And thats QB.

The miami dolphins right as we speak have the worse set of QBs in the NFL.

BUT NOOOOOOOOOO....

FALES IS just great for you...He is a great backup and so is osweiler. All because you in love dude.

Even pittsburgh who have a 1000000000 times better qb than tannehill in roslensburger or howver you call it.....Had the smarts to draft a qb to back him up.

Thats why untill they sell this team and another owner and coach get of hold of the dolphins....we will not get anywhere..

Gase was stuborn with tannehill.

That will be his ticket out of miami.

I would take issue with what you're saying on one level. Yes, we don't know how the QBs in this draft will do and that's sort of the point. That's the reason you take a QB in the draft every year. Many of the QBs taken in the latter rounds become good and yes sometimes great QBs. Belichick didn't know that Brady would do what's he's done when he drafted him. Since then, he's drafted Mallet, Garoppolo, Brisset,Rohan Davey, Kliff Kingsbury, Matt Cassell, etc.. The point is that you take a flier on a QB every year because at some point you're going to hit. Plus, what we have in Fales and Osweiler is a known quality. Neither is very good. Arguably, they're pretty mediocre. At least with a rookie, who knows? The ceiling is potentially exponentially higher. The Cowboys drafted Dak Prescott in the latter rounds thinking Romo would be their starter. He gets hurt and lo and behold, Prescott a pretty good QB. Just my opinion. Plus, taking a QB instead of a second tight end made a lot more sense to me.

Again Fin72 all those teams don't have the holes the phins do. I disagree with you about Dak. He is average at best and that is a stretch. Dak has one of the best O-lines, top 3 RB and a HOF TE. My good friend who is a die hard Cowboys fan and has been for his entire life will agree. He cannot stand Dak. Cowboys also have an owner who cares more about the game and less about the money and the celebrities he can bring in.

Don't get me wrong I would have no problem if they choose a QB in the later rounds. I just think they have more holes to fill with where we were in the draft. I really felt good about this draft. Something I can say after so many years of shit.

You're right you don't know how they are going to do but even if they do come out and blow everyone away do we really think that this team would make the playoffs? Defense sucks and offense cannot groove.

Grimey, your car has a blown engine, a Bad radio, a small leak in a radiator hose, etc. You replace the engine first
It's downright silly to do anything else. If anyone is saying that we DIDN'T have the chance because all the good QBs were gone at 11, I can't argue with him. But bringing up once in a lifetime 7th round Tom Brady doesn't cut it either.

Grimey, I'm with you on the holes in this roster. Some of those holes were caused by the way the cap was mismanaged but that's beside the point. My point was simply that a QB every year is what a lot of teams that have had success do. That's how you can develop a decent backup and not have to rely on the dregs that other teams discard. I wasn't for trying to draft a QB in the first. I was, however, fully expecting that in the fourth, they'd take a developmental QB. Mike White and Luke Falk were two guys I would love to have taken a flier on. White is smart and has a cannon of an arm. Falk has a lot of experience and seems poised. Will they be great? Probably not. But if you don't buy a lottery ticket, you have no chance to win. One last point, with all the holes we have on this roster, linebacker, defensive tackle, guard, do you think that drafting a second, blocking tight end is going to have a huge impact? I don't.

The car analogy is pure stupidity. I am pretty sure football is a team sport. This is not golf. Go get your so called engine and see how it runs on square tires.

I never once mentioned Brady on this topic either. I just believe that we improved on this draft even without signing a QB. All 4-5 that you were so in love with were gone before we picked. Should we have gave up more to move up? Hell no and in the past we would have.

I hope you're right. It would mean our team is making progress plus I hear crow tastes terrible. It's a good conversation. Thanks for your perspective. Go Fins.

Yeah probably under Don Shula who YOU probably think was an idiot given your cockeyed way of looking at things. Shula drafted Marino the year AFTER Woodley was a second year QB who played with our team in the Superbowl.

I don't think anyone saw that coming. 2 tight ends! Wow. This will either be one of those genuis moves no one thought about or one we will be talking about next yr at tbis time.

Gase is a offensive minded coach so I have no doubt he's behind it. In not saying it's great or bad, just that it's different, and very interesting. Has potential to be great or blow up in his face like an M80 in a cow pie.

Next year we get a roof and despite the shade.......a lot more sunshine blown up our asses!!!!

Treasure, I actually agree with you. I think if Tannehill has a strong team around him he can be a winning QB (that's assuming he hasn't lost any mobility due to the knee injury). That said, they didn't do him any favors taking away his most reliable weapon. Landry was a chain mover. A reception machine. What they left him with are a roster of receivers none of whom have ever gone over a 1000 yards in a season. The highest total is Stills with 931 when he had Drew Brees throwing him the ball. None have had 100 receptions in a season either. I still have to ask, who's the go to receiver on this team? Who's the best receiver. Last year it was easy. Landry. This year? Honestly, I'd have to say Stills. That's sad. On any other team, he's the number 3 guy. He's good, but not a number one. Parker's a joke. Amendola is old and injury prone. Wilson is unproven. The best thing they probably did for Tannehill is draft Gesicki. He may end up being the closest thing to a replacement of Landry. Probably my favorite pick this year. Personally, I think Tannehill has the right to be pretty pissed off about what Tannenbaum and company did to his chances for a successful comeback.

Well, you're right about that. Fales, however is a poor pro QB, and he has proven it again every time he has been called upon and given another chance. Gase saying that he "believes" in this guy makes me wonder if he really is the uber-talented coach so many other coaches and front office types have said he is. I have believed it, and I still sort of do, but I don't have the confidence in him that I once did.
Another thing bothers me. Jay Cutler sucks, he threw off his back foot far too often. A "QB whisperer" put up with that? I don't get it. Then, he brings that guy in here to throw to a TE that hadn't been any good in the two previous seasons, that he also brought in. They're both gone, but now he wants to put his franchise QB behind a "new" line consisting of a guy that used to provide poor protection for Cutler in Chicago, an aging former Pro Bowler from San Francisco, two draftees that have played consistently below expectations, and other and sundry scrubs. For an offensive "mind", he puts much too little emphasis on a really good O-line. We really need to keep our only proven (sort of) QB healthy, for a change. These things make me a little uncomfortable with Gase. I very much hope I'm being too pessimistic.

When Tanny gets his career ending injury (I predict in preseason), I will be entitled to say...."I tried to tell you but you wouldn't listen."

And I expect the response will be that at best I caused it somehow or at least that I hoped for it. We certainly need Amendola because if Tanny has any time at all, it will only be time enough to throw the dump off pass in the backfield that Brady often threw him.

Lol. You BELIEVE IT. That's nice. I wonder.....when Brady returned from his knee injury did the Pats fans Believe he would down? How about when Dan Marino got scope after scope, or when he completely tore his Archilles and wore a huge brace.......did you believe he would go down?

Yet Despite Tannehill being 10x the athlete, younger then all of them.....you BELIEVE he's going down. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmeye rolling smiley
