thumbs up

Excellent. Great report. Let's hope they become a great combo and yes occasionally do some successful trick plays!

This goes back a long way, but when we had Marlin Briscoe as a receiver (a former Qcool smiley he threw one or two passes on a trick play for us. It was way too infrequent, as I recall.

Then, less-long ago, Jim Jensen was an all-purpose player. Special teams, and also a receiver who threw a couple flea flickers from Marino. This was definitely a 'trick' play back then, because who would think we'd want anyone but Marino throwing a pass!

I'd love to see it with this guy.

*maybe even the wildcat formation would be a possibility with him, but just the threat of it would be an advantage. Here's hoping.

Here's hoping. Is that the official or unofficial slogan of Dolphin fans?

Yup! Just in time for the Chargers to leave San Diego. I'm cursed to not have an NFL team wherever I live lol!

As for the volcano action - I lived on Oahu where the volcanoes are dormant. What's happening there on the Big Island is nothing new though, people there are used to it already. Kilauea volcano has had non stop ongoing activity for years now.

Many homes have been destroyed there over the years from ongoing activity but for whatever reason there is a lot of media attention about it now. Lust for carnage perhaps? just like motorists rubbernecking car wrecks.

I visited Hawaii on my honeymoon in 94' I visited the big Island and Maui as well as Oahu.

The big Island was cool and very interesting, Oahu was like a big city but with water views.very busy and overcrowded.

But Maui.....goddamn. I've been to Aruba, many carribean Islands. I havnt been everywhere but that Island had some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever witnessed. We found this dirt road that lead to a cliff overlooking para surfers.we climbed down.....there was a small wsterfall.I feel asleep and don't ever remember being that peaceful.

Only place that comes close is maybe Sanibel Island Fla. thumbs up

Next year we get a roof and despite the shade.......a lot more sunshine blown up our asses!!!!

Visited Hawaii in the late 80's. Only went to the Pearl Harbor memorial. I think that means I was only on Oahu. Went body surfing. Thought I was going to drown when I looked up and saw that I was far, far, far, too far away from the shore. Didn't panic. I remembered that the top water comes into the shore and the under current pulls out to sea. I laid flat, face down, on the top of the water until each wave washed me toward the shore and would swim with my arms and kick with my legs at the end of the process until the wave gave out. Then I would lay flat until the next incoming wave brought me closer to the shore and I repeated this process over and over until I was on the beach.

My wife had no sympathy and only accused me of trying to show off for the women on the shore.

I think she would have actually been happy if I hadn't made it. LOL.

Jim Jensen was drafted as a QB. He didn't become a receiver and special teams ace until after he got here, because of his extreme athleticism. I always wondered why Shoes didn't use him for more trick plays, he did like to use them occasionally and Crash certainly had the prerequisite talent.

Gotta watch that auto spell function, Rick. It can turn Shula into shoes.
