Sam Sam:

need to improve the engine first...

We need to have a engine of a lexus...or lamborgini

Doesn't matter what the engine is. Can't race without a quality suspension, brakes and tires.

Marino was a Corvette......but always had a flat tire.

Okay, I'll explain.

Rather than us buying the corvettes and Rolls that the college draft is offering in Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield, Rudolph, or Josh Allen (representing the Rolls, Corvettes, and Stingrays), you want us to use the draft choices to pick linemen which is like instead of getting a new car we would be replacing the radiators or engines in our old car.

Please...you're embarrassing us in law enforcement by having me have to explain this to you publicly.

Trade down for scrubs in the 4th and 5th rounds....

A lot depends on what is there when it is Miami's turn to pick (at 11). If one of those QBs is sitting there and another team is in desperate need of a QB, then Miami could get, at best, a swap of first rounders along with, at least, a second, and maybe another pick or player(s).

If someone calls and wishes to trade with Miami, then that team had better be in the top 15 to make it worth Miami's while, otherwise, forget it.

Can't afford to lose a blue chipper to go too far back in the first round.

If one of the top 4 QBs is there at 11 and Miami chose him, I wouldn't be heartbroken. The only problem with that scenario is that that QB, in all likely hood, would not see the field for about 2-3 years, unless something happened to RT. Grab a R. Smith or Edmunds, or Vea , or Ward, or James, etc. (Supposed) blue chip players, who (should) contribute immediately.

A quarterback is like the engine to the car. He is BY FAR the most important component.

You get a new engine before you spend the money on other parts of the car that compliment the engine such as the tires, the alternator, the battery, etc.

You can always accessarize from time to time but you get your major component when it is needed.

And Cap, there is not even any medical word.....let alone medical certainty, that Tanny will be back in September....so the guy that you say will not be needed at least until 2019, might be needed in September. Without hearing any medical reports, we just don't know.

If this was last year's 2017 draft, no big deal but this is one of the best QB drafts ever. I repeat...ever.

RT does need a better supporting cast...And any QB we draft or replace him with will need that too. We could replace him with Brady, Brees, Marino, or anyone else you'd care to name and that would still be true.

At least we made the playoffs consistently with marino and were in afc championship a few times with marino.

We havent acomplished anything with tannehill.

Made the playoffs becuase of the 6 game winning streak Ryan orchestrated.

Ryan can't be blamed for the shitty draft picks , lack of coaching , and lack of support he was given. In SPITE of that he's been pretty damn successful stat wise .

This that all you can say to foolishly answer SamSam when he brings up Marino, who you attacked, is to say Tannehill made the playoffs as a wild card team once??????????/

None of the teams that Marino played in our division compared to what NE has been the past 10+ years. The one year we won the division we still tied NE with win totals but held the tie breaker. Brady played half a game that year and they still won 11.

NE was very good when bledsoe played.....We just used to beat them 41-40 because we had marino.

If we had a qb with tannehills talent back then we get blown out by NE.

From 93 to 2001 (when Bledsoe played in 2 games) NE went to 4 playoffs. 3 of which were as the wildcard team. The did lose the SuperBowl in 96. Only year they were not a wildcard team.

Since 2001 since Brady took over they have only missed 2 playoffs and both those years they were 2nd in our division. The Bledsoe teams don't compare to the Brady led Patriots.

I would have given you the Bills teams that were always pretty damn good but not as dominate as the Patriots have been since the early 2000's.

Ahhhhhh. Bledsoe. Man he could throw that deep ball. Was wondering when we would get around to him. Dont believe he ever got a ring either.....Just like Marino.....Great player with no championship Team.....no .unless you want to call bench warming for Brady in 2001 a Victory for him.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Well you said it at the end of your post. Bledsoe does have a ring. As he should. He helped build that team and played for part of the year. Did he get a ring as a SB starter, no. But he still has the jewelry.

Brian Griese has a ring too-- I believe he was a rookie backup to Elway when the Broncos won.

Bledsoe was pretty good, not dissing him in the slightest. But new coaching and drafting brought him that ring with a well rounded Team.
