Maybe his new advice will be to play matt more and build a good team around him. He is almost as good as tannehill. And we will win the superbowl with a super team like that.
Be careful that you don't fall into the same trap that has made PPF the marginal website that they are- ie., that statistics, while useful to a point, don't tell the whole story- or anything near it.
I was 17 when Marino started for the Dolphins. I don't think you actually read my posts. I've already addressed the 83 class several times.only 1 Superbowl winner from that class , Elway, and it took him 15 yrs.
Primary pursuit in first rd every year is to get the winning QB, a QB that wins in his rookie contract, like Ben, Brady, Wentz, Russ, so that you know you have the Qb and can extend him and go for more SB runs.
Until we have that, we do not have the QB. And we do not have the QB right now.
The team invested in RT, Philbin trained him to an okay level. Then they extended even though he did not win, because stadium renovations got in the way and tesm figured maybe they did not give him the best chance to win.
But, that dynamic should not detract from the fact he did not win and we still do not have that phenom rookie. And that is still the priority over all else!

If you must use the bleacher report as a source, please just give us a link. That way those of us that are disdainful(or worse) of these clowns don't have to read their ignorant junk if we don't want to.
They wanted to publish something I'd written as a fan on their site a few years ago- does that tell you something?

Response: Does this make sense to you? You want me to give a link....not for those people who trust Bleacher which would make sense because they could then verify the accuracy of what I am passing off as coming from Bleacher but instead I should post the link for the benefit of those who DON'T trust Bleacher??????

Yeah I dont get this one either..We would have got a 3rd rd pick if we lost him in FA and didnt trade him through compensatory picks. But we traded him for a 4th? Either they were doing someone a favor in the Browns organization or they thought Landry was going to sign with one of our AFC east opponents in FA.. Because it makes zero sense what happened...

Chryen: (1) True, the Fins are all in on investigating a QB. I believe it is only to get a team to trade up with Miami so they can get that extra pick(s). If one of those QBs is there at 11, will Miami take him, that is the question? (2) RT's injury history? He got busted up when Campbell hit him low. He did not get surgery. Hurt the same knee again (because he didn't get surgery). As far as I know...that's it for injuries. So, just based on that, I don't see a injury history. (3) RT would have received that contract, with his numbers, on any team. RT doesn't have Marino numbers, but he has done a good job. Now just get better weapons around him and fix the D. That's where the extra pick(s) will come in.
Dolphins did not give Tanne a new contract in 2017(?). He was still playing under his contract extension. It became fully guaranteed regardless of injury in 2017. You can check over the cap for details.
I would rate Tanne over Henne and behind Pennington.
Earlier you wrote Todd Blackledge was not a bust, true he sucked.

What I was saying - which should have been blindingly obvious, even to you- was that giving us a link, which can then be avoided- is much better than a lengthy quote- which is an ethically questionable practice to be avoided, and is what you did. Again.

but itstrue..................the engine of this team is in crutches......why would you want get a paintjob when the engine is messed up and you cannot drive the car.
Sam, I thought it was obvious. And last year was a perfect example. Tanny is out for the whole year. If Rick were right and the quarterback was NOT as important as you and I say, we should have NOT had such a sh*t poor season using our backups. And he's tripping on me NOT giving him a LINK to Ourlads?????
Last year we should had rode fales all the way to a 0-16 season and we could of had that qb we needed this year. At least we would had known how good was fales.....
But gase rather save face and win six games with that retread cutler.....and when tannehill is out this year ....hopefuly not.......he will insert that other retread he signed this year and try and save his job once again with 5 or 6 wins again this year...
Everyone who has expressed an opinion on this thread will have his opinion nailed to his name like the crown of thorns was affixed to our Lord on the Cross. TC will always stand behind his opinion but people like 4545 Rick have a way of disappearing and only coming back to launch new attacks on new subjects. I not gonna let him or anyone forget this and pointing out that all but one of the QBs were gone anyway is not an excuse because the question is still what SHOULD we have done even before the draft and most everyone who posted (unlike the voters in the poll) were against taking a QB at number 11
