My son says hes a stud. That great. BUT we seem to keep going after the DE spot even though we are fairly good at the position. I know I know...Future and Wake is getting older. BUT........We are decent at the spot. We have NO MLB. and NO Oline. But we still go after is hard. Whatever. for a 4th rounder (and we had 2) I think its a great trade. We need to get more picks though..........

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

TCPF if we get a few more quality free agents then there is a posibility they are thinking of drfting a qb in the first.

We need another LB and maybe we can land vontae davis again.

That will solve some of the issues we have on defense.

The Lbs stunk last year....Kiko needs help...

We do have the rookie lb coming back from injury...They said he was good.

he will be a DE for us. We now have him Branch Wake at DE plus Suh, a TON of money for a DL on a team that was 31 in the nfl in D. Still no LBs.
Seems like the kind of move we always make, trade picks for players on the downslope of their careers who are on contracts they signed when they were way productive. Paying for past production IMO. Hope I am wrong
I think this team needs a strip it down to studs rebuild including a new QB in first round. We are never getting past 1st round of playoffs with this squad, best case scenario. Unfortunately seems FO still drinking the same "we're close" kool aid they've been serving since the Wanny years.

i've already chalked this up to a wasted offseason. let the clown show do their thing to speed up their eventual exit.

I look forward to the harbaugh regime in '19.

Does anyone feel good about this team?? I know being a fan means turning a blind eye to the obvious, but damn stevie wonder could see this. So we get more over the cap with this trade, give up a 4th for the same position we drafted with our 1st pick!!! i mean damn folks can you get something right anything at all?? you cant draft shit nor make any decent moves. While on the stupid moves, what is Landry thinking right now?? He thought he was the best receiver in football. Amazing not one team is knocking on the door or even discussing. Matter of fact, the ones that may have been interested have now backed off. You wanted the money the phins offered it, you turned it down, they franchise you, and now you say you wont play for it. Go flip burgers at Mcdonalds this year, take the public transportation, and live the the real world does, then let me know how much money you need.

I just wish the Oline would get 10% of the attention the Dline gets. And you wonder why Tanny gets sacked ,Landry is the reason he throws for 4000 yrs despite the poor line and they want to dump him too. WTF?

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Roger That JSM!!

The $#!T show that is the Dolphins' FO led by Tannenbust and Chris 'Have Contributed Nothing In the Last 10 Years' Grier, is going crash and burn so hard this off season, it will be epic.

Can't wait to see which head-case, can't-break-into-the-starting-line up kind of guy we take #1 this year.

The two above mentioned idiots have turned off-season incompetence into an art form!

Who will be the next Dion Jordan, Johnathan Martin, or Charles Harris?

Once again, Tannenbaum's idiocy strikes again. Trading for a player with injury issues while further exacerbating the cap situation in one fell swoop. Quinn has had back problems, history of concussion, and hip problems. The Dolphins are currently 8 million over the cap. Add another 12.4 million to that because of Quinn. That means this team has allotted approximately 50 million of their 2018 cap on the defensive line. Landry is now officially gone and the ability to add any offensive line help in free agency is also gone. Miami will be competing with Cleveland for the first overall pick in 2019.

we're justifying giving 12mm to another teams castoff yet can't give or best WR, that we drafted, 14mm.

Brilliant!

Thats why we keep stinking for all these years. We never can resign our own stars...We let them go somewhere else for peanuts....

Landry is a star and never gets injured...What else do you want in a player.

It seems our front office wants this team to get worse....with all these stupid moves.

This is great news for those of us that don't want them to waste drafts on defensive linemen this time.

Good way of looking at it, Toko. Seriously. I could just see us doing that.

Who says The oline hasn't gotten attention?

They have addressed the Oline both in free agency and the draft numerous times....for many many years.

They havent signed the right personel thats true but nobody can say that they havent tried to fix it.

We've even addressed it in the first round a few times.

And if we do it again, or worse, trade our first round pick for 3rds and 4ths and try to do it again in those rounds, we will obviously fail again.

I'd say last year was an example of not addressing the o line in any meaningful way. Going into the season, we had zero talent at guard. Two good guards were available in free agency, Zeitler and Lang. We didn't pursue either. Instead we re-signed Bushrod who was contemplating retirement and signed Larson, a journeyman guard who was at best a backup talent-wise. The best guard prospect in the draft was Forrest Lamp whom we passed up to take Charles "Two Sack" Harris. We drafted Asiata in the fourth round who couldn't break into the lineup despite the dearth of talent at guard. So, I'd agree that in the past, Miami has made some attempts to fix the line, but certainly not last year.
