MNF: Patriots v. Dolphins, game night thread

Another chance at beating the Patriots during prime time. That pretty much sums it up.

It's chilly for South Florida, will fans flock to the stadium to see this game? Hmmm, this may be the least attended MNF game in NFL history.

Let's go Fins...work as a team and beat the Patriots. cool smiley

I can tell you matter of factly......No one from the Treasure Coast of Florida is attending. And that included Patriots fans. Absolutely NO first responders.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Colonel,

I think Ross had better get used to dwindling attendance. This year is looking more and more like a 5 or 6 win season. Nonetheless, Ross will keep the moron twins Tannenbaum and Grier around next year to continue trying to find their asses with both hands but with equally unsuccessful results. People will not spend their hard earned dollars on a team owned by someone who'd rather employ his buddies than win ball games nor should they.

Everything you mention certainly doesn't help. But the fact that the Miami Dolphins still have players that disrespect first responders and support Kappernicks agenda and his piggy socks.....is why they can't get a sellout on the biggest game of the season.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

That may be but those of us on this board and fans on chatboards of teams all across the NFL are more dedicated fans than even the average run of the mill guy or woman who just goes to a home game. Most of them live in the home team area. Us chatboard fans may live hundreds or thousands of miles away.

TC--your reasons not to watch or attend the games in person is understandable considering your law enforcement profession.

ChyrenB--you make valid points too--good ones--but TC doesn't have to bear more insults and disrespect by watching the game in person because of these protesters.

It's unfortunate that things are so divided. When crap happens you call first responders. They are important then...they are important all the time for what they do.

OK--back to the game thread. It's a few minutes before the ball game starts. I hope we can make a game of it tonight. We shall see.

Go Fins.

Nuff said about the other stuff but I kinda think that we had two opportunities for two touchdowns and had to settle for 2 field goals.

So far, the game calling has kept the Patriots off balance--I like that aspect. Execution of plays is better than I've seen in many games and looks darn good overall.

I expect, the Patriots to adjust to the Dolphins and begin to counter defensively. Then I expect the Patriots to move down the field for at least 3 points at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. The Fins have to counter with some kind of score soon afterwards.

Would have love to see those field goals become TDs but 3 is better than nothing at all.

At half time, we lead and that's good. Keep going Fins.

He'll see your post as soon as he takes his eyes away from the game he's watching on TV.

We bailed them out on that play. No chance the pass would have been caught but pass interference.

Tonight they are looking like SB contenders! Wow. The old uniforms are getting the respect they deserve. Hope they hold on. I think Drake is showing he’s better than Ajayi. Looking good !

Different kind of running backs, Toko. Ajayi was more like a power fullback. Drake is a slip the tackle guy.

Totally inexplicable that we basically man-handled the Patsies from beginning to end. Cost them most probably the first seed in the playoffs. However this board is almost silent. Like I said, I wonder what kinda fans you guys would have been in the fall 1967 season, when I first started rooting for this team.

A wise man once said.......................

QUOTE: if you are able to put pressure on brady, then he becomes just another qb in this league.

I am pretty sure that goes for a high percentage of the QB's in the NFL...The issue is getting that pressure constantly or actually get the holding calls that occur while getting that pressure.

NE is one of those teams that don't get to many calls against them. Last night the refs actually did pretty well with trying to keep it a fair game. Besides that one pass interference that led to the first touchdown for NE. That was wishy-washy.

Where was this team and these coaches earlier this year?

Also, the roughing the passer call on Brady was BS too. I mean, it may have mussed his hair a little but roughing? Not even close.
