True, but if RT's knee doesn't hold up, we need that "future QB." As I said, not in first round, too many holes on this team. Second round should still have some good ones. Wait too long, and Miami is then just putting a body on the team and (probably) later cutting him.

Obamacare needs to go down. That sht is a tax law and not a healthcare law. It does nothing.

Depends on from where you stand, hoo. Early this year, they showed what effect the first bill that came out in early 2017 would do. It was, of course, the first GOP bill. It showed that a lot of poor Whites would lose their healthcare. There were near riots by poor Whites and that bill had to be pulled back by Trump.

We must face it that America really stop being a purely capitalistic nation when FDR defeated Herbert Hoover.

We have been closer to Capitalism than the European countries but we have embraced economic theories which most pure capitalist theorists would reject.

Social security is one. Medicare is another. Obamacare is also one. If you are an employer, a small one, then you might struggle to cover your employees. But without it, those people, your employees, would have to go back to what they had before it, which is either a) rely on general assistance or b) just stay sick.

General assistance is welfare and is what Republicans have been moaning about since The New Deal of FDR.

So the purpose of Obamacare is to shift costs from the general welfare to employers shouldering more of the burdens.

Obviously, small employers then look at their bottom line and obviously, the more money spent on health plans for employees, the more it cuts into profits. I get that.

But you gotta see that it's one or the other. Either you have Lyndon Johnson Welfare or you have something like Obamacare that shifts more of the costs AWAY FROM THE TAXPAYER BUT ON TO, THEREFORE, THE EMPLOYER, SMALL OR LARGE.

And in fact, in the primary of 2008, I supported Hillary over Obama and supported Hillary Care (which was really Romney Care) over Obamacare. Hillary care was more like Social security and had a single payer. But we could go on and on....

There is and must be a solely legislative way to force the insurance companies to play fair with items like preexisting conditions, without additional taxation. That additional taxation in Obamacare makes it a tax bill and not a care bill.

Second there has to be a market remedy to cost problems. Pumping more money into a failing system is not the way. A market way requires ground up approach, starting with care providers: clinics and hospitals that are reasonably priced, whether gov owned like VA, foregn owned like Chinese or Indian, or private owned but tailored to budget needs.
