It wasn't fun for us either. 6 days without electric and lots of tree damage.

Okay--now on to a game--let's settle back and enjoy.

Go Fins! hot smiley

Well that ball was in the stands. HOW is that pass interference with bathe end zone? This team gets ZERO respect from other teams, the refs Or the NFL. Can't really say I blame them but we have become the 1980's Saints. Ugh!

Totally unimaginative play calling.

I agree with Gumbel, this was a feeling out process. Coach Gase called a very conservative first half. I expect things to get more involved during the second half. Go Dolphins.

Defense has looked out of sorts most of game. Impact of Timmons not there?

More questionable penalties that keep the Phins from getting ANYTHING going.

Not getting a TD really hurts. We are one point shy of a tie score. Where are our TEs. What a contrast between Chargers' TE and ours. Ours are not in the game plan.

Now. Let's just keep running the ball. Don't fumble. Run the clock down. Get the angle our kicker likes most and kick the winning field goal with negligible time let on the clock.

It's the win that matters, not how it's done.

Very unimpressive win. Gase looked very Philbin-ish with that time-out.

Holy shit.....That win was uglier then the entire cast of the view in sunlight.........eye popping smiley

Jay Cutlers response at the end said it all. As soon as that field goal missed he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away.

Laundry/Parker and Ayjai played their asses off.

Our defense had several break downs over the middle......The Pats will rape us like Justin Bieber in a jail cell if thats not corrected.

I think Gase made some serious coaching errors , I thought he was better then that.

1-0. That win was like finding $10 in my jeans. Dont know where it came from, but I'll take it. eye rolling smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

That time out was definitely Philbinseque. They may have not gotten the FG attempt off if not for that unexplainable piece of game management.

Alone in first place in the AFC East. Obviously way early in the season, but -- when was the last time that happened?

No, seriously.

I'd feel alot better if we hadn't won by scoring 4 field goals and the other team missing 2 despite a really bad coaching move at the end of the game ........just saying.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

The time out call was pre-planned without assessing what was happening. That kind of stuff happens--it's the "fog of war."

Thrilled we won the away game. The LB corps and secondary still need a lot of work and what's with AWOL Timmons. That is baffling right now. I'm sure we'll either hear about what it really is or the front office will keep it close to the vest and say nothing of consequence.

Agree, Ajayi, Parker and Landry played very well as did our defensive line against the run. O-line was solid.

Cutler has a different persona...seems very cool and unexcitable. He does have pocket awareness. thumbs up Cutler did a good job in game 1. cool smiley
