Irma crashing the party

Looks like Hurricane Irma is going to crash the party. Forecast models have it in South Fla Sunday morning. I wouldn't be surprised if they rescheduled it for the bye week. They both have their byes Nov 19th.

That seems to be the least of their problems if this thing stays on this track. Cat 4 direct hit possible.

Just came back from Walmart........3:30AM at night to beat the lines. Stocked up on batteries, canned goods, water. We are good. I'll hit the Propane dude tomorrow make sure the barbecue is set.

I'll wait to the middle of the week to see what we are getting before I start really battening down the hatches. Only emergency scenario is a CAT 5 head on on the Treasure Coast. (about 1.5 hrs north of Miami)
That would be Fvcked up. eye popping smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Stay safe S. Fla peeps. Selfishly, I hope Irma slides through into the gulf. I don't like the turn to the north projections that end up in Charleston, SC.

Looking like its gonna slide under The state and then Turn North.

Where it turns will be Hell or Hooray depending on who is in the way.

2nd largest recorded storm in Atlantic (usually a cooler ocean)history. Current 185 sustained winds.....gusts of over 200. Thats complete devastation. Next couple of days will be a nail biter. Almost certainly no football in South Florida Sunday.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Second largest and THE strongest storm in Atlantic history. Yikes.

If the center of the storm passes south of the peninsula, that does not mean that florida isn't being hit. The northern part of the storm is the worst part, because of the direction it travels and the rotation. South florida can still get nailed hard if the center passes south of the state.

Probably North. Owners are all offering their stadiums.

Its crucial that we play somewhere this weekend. Dont want to lose that Late Bye in November.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Not sure if they should play on Sunday elsewhere.. it is Sketchy right now in south fla.. The players would be heavily distracted worrying about their families. Plus all the local fans are most likely going to be without power and TV to even watch it.. The bye week option does suck, but not sure that playing Sunday somewhere else would be any better... I am in southern Bahamas right now running boats north trying to get away from the storm.. This storm is no joke and pretty f'ing scary..Everyone around south fla be safe.. If I get back in time I am going to drive north..

Confirmed that it has been moved to week 11. So first actual home game is Oct 8th vs Tennessee. Will be in London the week before.

Well at least the players will be able to make sure their families are safe from the storm.

6th toughest schedule in the league just got that much harder. Hard to see them going over .500 this year...Best of luck to them and hope for the best

God bless all of you in So Fla. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
I still have cousins that live outside Miami that I have been thinking about non-stop.

And hope to God that that the Hard Rock is still there when all is said and done.
That roof structure is really going to get put to the test!

Really a stroke of luck that they both had a bye week on the same date.
